Chapter 359 - 359: Celestial Dragons (2/?)

The Celestial Dragons lived in the Holy Land of Mariejois, high above the Red Line. Descendants of the twenty kings who created the World Government eight hundred years ago, they were considered the most "noble" beings in existence.

Believing themselves to be the descendants of gods, they saw ordinary humans as nothing more than insects. They refused to breathe the same air as commoners, hiding behind transparent bubble helmets while indulging in excess and cruelty.

Their arrogance knew no limits. To harm even one of them was to incur the wrath of the Navy Admirals and the deadly CP0 agents. That fear alone was enough to keep most pirates far away.

"Go! Go! Catch her for me! Catch her! What a perfect piece of art—how could someone so beautiful exist in this world?!"

On the crowded street, Saint Charlos barked orders hysterically, pointing at Kaguya like a rabid animal. His eyes gleamed with sick fascination as he looked upon her, as if she were a priceless treasure crafted just for him.

Around him stood his escort—men in black suits specially assigned by the World Government to protect the Celestial Dragons. Each one was at least as strong as a Marine Colonel.

There were more than thirty guards, their formation tight. At the center stood a cold-faced officer radiating power—a Marine Vice Admiral-level warrior named Angus.

"Die!!!" Kaguya said coldly, her pale eyes narrowing.

In an instant, all the guards who charged forward froze mid-motion, their faces blank, trapped within her illusion.

The silvery hair flowing behind her shimmered like moonlight, twisting into sharp, spear-like strands that pierced the immobilized men without mercy. In seconds, the street was silent—the bodies of the guards scattered lifelessly at her feet.

Angus frowned, watching his entire unit fall in an instant. This woman is dangerous…

Turning to Saint Charlos, he said in a low voice, "My lord, her strength is far beyond expectation. Please step back. I will subdue her and bring her to you shortly."

"Trash! Useless trash!" the Celestial Dragon spat. "Do your job! Capture her now! How can a creature this beautiful not belong to me?"

His eyes burned with excitement. The thought of returning to Mariejois with such a powerful woman as his slave filled him with pride and twisted joy.

"Hurry up! Don't make me repeat myself!"

"Yes, Lord Charlos!" Angus barked orders to his remaining men. "Protect Lord Charlos at all costs!"

The guards moved to shield their master while Angus lunged forward, his speed blurring as he closed the distance between himself and Kaguya in a single heartbeat.

He swung his blackened fist, infused with Armament Haki, aiming straight for her chest.

But before the strike landed, his expression changed. Panic flickered across his eyes—his body had stopped moving, locked in place by an invisible force.

A faint hum filled the air. A streak of silver light flashed.

A bone spear—pure, radiant white—shot from Kaguya's hand and pierced Angus clean through the neck. His body stiffened, then crumpled lifelessly to the ground.

"L-Lord Angus!" the two remaining guards cried in horror.

"Saint Charlos, we have to retreat! We can't fight her!" one shouted.

"Cowards! What use are you to me?!" Charlos screamed, his face twisting with rage. "Contact the Marines! I want this woman captured alive!"

High above, several Supernovas watched from the rooftops.

"Is that a Celestial Dragon?" Bonney muttered between bites of pizza. "Disgusting as ever."

"Yeah," another pirate sneered. "But that woman… she's done for now."

"Don't rush," Bonney said, eyes glinting. "Let's see how this plays out."

From nearby rooftops, Capone Bege, Drake, and other notorious rookies also observed, watching the scene with curiosity and tension.

Below, Kaguya's expression remained calm, her white eyes glowing faintly.

She raised one hand, and an enormous gravitational pull erupted from her palm.

The Celestial Dragon, still seated arrogantly on his slave's back, screamed as his body was dragged toward her uncontrollably.

"Wh-What are you doing?! Stop! Do you know who I am?!"

In Kaguya's hand, a new bone spike grew from her palm—its surface gleaming with a deadly, cold light.

As Saint Charlos flew closer, his terror grew. "She wants to kill me! No! Do you realize the consequences?!"

But it was already too late.

With a sickening crack, the bone spear pierced through his chest.

"Lord Charlos!" the guards shouted in panic, rushing forward—only to be shredded by Kaguya's hair spears before they could take another step.

Within seconds, all of his protectors lay dead.

"You… how dare you touch me!" Saint Charlos wheezed, eyes wide with disbelief and pain.

Kaguya didn't answer. The bone spear withdrew from his body, then plunged back in again.

And again.

And again.

Each strike was deliberate—painful—but never fatal.

Blood poured from his body in streams, pooling beneath him as he screamed in agony. His fine clothes were torn and soaked crimson.

Within moments, the noble "god" of Mariejois was nothing more than a broken, blood-soaked man barely clinging to life.

By now, even the onlookers were shaken. The Supernovas who had been watching fled, realizing the magnitude of what had just occurred.

A Celestial Dragon had been struck down—and the entire world would soon know.

"Stop right there!"

A commanding voice thundered through the street as a group of Marines appeared in formation.

At their front stood Vice Admiral Dalmatian, his expression grim as he looked upon the scene before him.

The lifeless guards, the bleeding noble, and the woman who stood calmly amid it all.

Kaguya turned toward them slowly, her eyes as cold as the void.
