Hades drew in a deep breath. They needed to prioritize. First, deal with Fifi, forever and then tackle Amber.
One of the guards opened the car door and the four children Amber had brought poured out, one by one.
Suddenly, Fifi moved with surprising speed and strength. She grabbed one of the children and held her throat at knife point. "Enough of this boring family drama. I don't care who Hades sleeps with or who is the rightful mother of these brats. I just need to make a quick and peaceful exist."
Chaos erupted. Guards shouted and started evacuating the other children. Superhumans swooped in, weapons drawn on Fifi. Hades surged forward. "Put the knife down and let the boy go Fifi."
"Don't hurt her." Lisha shouted.
Major Elio's finger tightened on the trigger of his gun. This was exactly what he had been hoping to avoid. Family drama getting in the way of business.
