Chapter 478 - Chapter 478: Justice?

Li Ming no longer had the mental capacity to worry about the system's shifting behavior.

The moment Orsaga's voice reached his ears—even though it came from nothing more than an idle avatar and a passing thought—it carried weight.

Because Orsaga had not bothered to conceal his essence, that casual voice was infused with power from a higher order.

And so, as he spoke, reality itself twisted. Settings were rewritten.

The concept of [Weakness] was forcibly stamped onto Li Ming's being.

In less than an instant, all his power—the Oma Zi-O armor, the one-time Saitama card, everything—was reduced below even the level of an amoeba.

This was Orsaga's innate ability: Sovereign Will – Reality Distortion

Since the day he had ascended to a Greater Daemon, he had been able to reshape reality at will, spending energy to enforce his thoughts onto existence.

Now, with the devouring of his "Evolution System" long past, that talent had only grown stronger.

Against such force, Li Ming had no resistance.

Even his intelligence was about to collapse into nothing.

But at that very brink, his so-called Supreme Two-Dimensional System finally triggered its emergency protocols.

[Activating core failsafe—Clause Seven…]

[Ding!]

[One-time Character Card: Azi Dahaka (from Problem Children Are Coming from Another World, Humanity's Last Trial—Absolute Evil). Auto-activation. Commencing divine descent.]

In the next instant, the half-dead Li Ming flared with power again.

"...?"

Orsaga, naturally, noticed the change. But boredom kept him from interrupting. Instead, he watched with interest.

He didn't wait long.

In less than a femtosecond, a new figure took Li Ming's place—a pale-skinned, three-headed humanoid dragon over three meters tall.

"Ohhh~~"

Sensing the creature's aura—equivalent to a high-tier Greater Daemon—Orsaga nodded with satisfaction.

"Now that's more like it. That earlier display? Honestly, you were dragging down the average quality of system users."

But Azi Dahaka, newly descended through the system's ritual, was lost in confusion.

Dragged from the Box Garden World without warning, he needed time to grasp his situation. Only after absorbing the system's transmitted data did he piece it together.

'Another world? Hired as outside help? Hmph… The payment is acceptable, and you're even adding external boosts? Do you really doubt I can handle this opponent?'

Yes—the system had offered him generous terms to ensure his cooperation, even empowering him further so he could fight at full strength despite being out of his own world.

Yet the very generosity irked his pride. Did they think so little of him?

Annoyed, he turned to face his new opponent. Instinctively, he began his ritual introduction—the same one he always declared to heroes in the Box Garden:

"I am the Absolute Evil, Azi Dahaka. Therefore, you stand as justice."

"Tread upon my corpse, and you shall be called absolute justice."

"No matter how much blood stains your path, no matter what radiance you've abandoned…"

"I shall guarantee that, in this moment, your justice will—"

But halfway through his proclamation, his words faltered.

For in that moment, he glimpsed a fraction of Orsaga's essence.

Even if his eyes were gouged out, his ears deafened, his nose stripped of smell—so long as he still drew breath, as the Zoroastrian god of evil, Azi Dahaka could still sense the abyssal Malice radiating from Orsaga.

It wasn't just evil—it was The Evil.

From the faintest glimpse, he heard the screams of countless beings across aeons, all cursing this existence. It was as if every life, from the beginning of time to now, had joined in a chorus of eternal hatred.

Slaughter. Torture. Ruin. Madness. Endless atrocities woven into eternity.

Beside this, Azi Dahaka almost mistook himself for a paragon of justice.

This "summon" wasn't him being hired as a villain—this was him coming to save the world.

'What the hell is this thing…?'

Bewilderment churned within him as he faced the unfathomable.

Orsaga, meanwhile, had listened to the dramatic speech. For a moment, his expression froze.

Then came his first thought: Moved.

For in his entire life—aside from the cultists he himself brainwashed—no one had ever placed him on the side of justice.

This was… touching.

A moment worthy of a Warp-wide awards ceremony.

He wiped at his mouth (no tears, only drool) and spoke with rare sincerity:

"That flattery… not bad. I truly like it."

"..."

Azi Dahaka was left speechless.

If he had to repeat those words again, he thought he'd vomit.

Shame and anger mingled in his chest.

Having already sensed divine essence within Orsaga, Azi Dahaka didn't know exactly what this being was, but he knew one thing—this was no human, and certainly no god of Zoroastrian faith.

So he struck, unleashing his trump card: the Simulated Star Creation Map—Avesta.

In the Box Garden, such maps represented the heart of a worldview, a mark that their wielder might one day ascend to godhood within their pantheon. Each bore strange, overwhelming powers.

Avesta's specialty was duality: Good and Evil.

By defining himself as Absolute Evil, Azi Dahaka could define his opponent as Absolute Good.

And from there—he could copy his opponent's powers as his own. Unlimited.

The more enemies, the stronger he grew.

The limitation? It couldn't target humans or Zoroastrian deities.

Orsaga, of course, was neither.
