In the afternoon, the Cangli Tribe members temporarily staying at Zaomei Manor bustled about, preparing to depart.

The battle at Burial Immortal Town had cost the tribe nearly a thousand lives, and countless Otherworld Coffins had been lost.

Although the Buddha's Salvation (Fodu) Bandits retreated, many strange and unusual circumstances remained there.

This matter was of great importance.

Cang Li had to return to the tribe as quickly as possible to report the details to the elders, and he also feared further complications.

Gao Huan, due to his congenital speech impediment, had not interacted with anyone and had boarded the carriage early.

He possessed exceptional linguistic talent, fluent in four foreign languages. He had no concerns about the communication barriers he would face alone, he was confident that he could learn the language of this world in a short time.

Cang Li emerged from the manor with a group of the tribe's top experts.

Walking beside him were two tall, veiled women.

One of them possessed a Pure Immortal Physique, her skin as crystal-clear as jade.

She maintained a cold demeanor, and Cang Li had never heard her speak since they first met in the Death Spirits Mist Domain.

The other woman wore a crimson dress with a white bone wind chime at her waist. She was cheerful and extremely talkative.

They were "Lost Ones" who accidentally wandered into the mist domain.

They were Qi Shanshan and Cai Yutong.

It was Cang Li who rescued them.

He had seen beautiful women with Pure Immortal Physiques before, but even among them, there were varying degrees of beauty.

He would never forget the stunning first impression Cai Yutong had made on him. To have had the chance to play the hero and rescue her - though the coffin retrieval mission had been perilous, hadn't it also been a blessing in disguise?

"My sister and I were planning to head to Jiu Li City first. If it's not on your way, we wouldn't want to trouble the Young Clan Leader..."

Before Qi Shanshan could finish, Cang Li chuckled: "What a coincidence! I'm returning to the Cangli Tribe for a brief visit before immediately setting off for Jiu Li City myself. More importantly, the route to Jiu Li City passes directly through the Cangli Tribe. Perhaps the two young ladies would consider staying as guests at my tribe first?"

"The Young Clan Leader possesses not only extraordinary grace and a chivalrous spirit but also genuine warmth and hospitality. This humble one has never encountered such a fine gentleman before."

Qi Shanshan gracefully bowed, then helped Cai Yutong into the largest and most luxurious carriage at the front of the procession.

When Gao Huan lifted the curtain to look ahead, the two women were already seated inside.

Cang Li stood beside the carriage, adjusting his robes. The tension he displayed now was greater than he'd felt facing the top expert of the Buddha's Salvation (Fodu) Bandits.

"We're about to depart. Where has Li Ling gone?" he asked.

An older Martial-Mystic Cultivator behind him replied, "The Fourth Miss said she had a sudden matter to attend to and told us not to wait for her."

"A sudden matter? What could she possibly have to do in Yaoguan?"

Cang Li knew his sister's cultivation level and her independent nature, so he didn't press further. He smoothed his expression into a more refined and gentle demeanor before climbing into the carriage.

...

Li Weiyi drove his carriage alone, whipping the horses along the firm dirt road that ran along the river.

The Cang Li Tribe retrieved coffins several times each year, and they traveled by land more often than by water.

As a result, this dirt road was exceptionally wide, lined on both sides with ancient thousand-year-old willows and century-old giant mulberries trees.

Through the gaps between the rapidly receding tree trunks, he could see warships sailing on the wide surface of the Shui River.

The ships were loaded with Otherworld Coffins, and Cangli Tribe warriors armed with blades patrolled the decks in close formation.

Clearly, Cang Li had taken a small group ahead to express formal gratitude to the Cang Li Tribe, leading the way.

The main body of the Cangli Tribe, along with the Otherworld Coffins, would follow by water.

.....

The carriage was ultimately too slow.

By the time Li Weiyi could see Burial Immortal Town in the distance, dusk had already fallen.

The sun had set, leaving only a fiery red afterglow painting the horizon.

"Old Zhao said the wilderness is extremely dangerous at night. Death Spirits and Malevolent Demons become unusually active, and one might even encounter Fierce Insects and Cursed Monsters. We're still at least two or three hundred miles from the Blood Sea. It's better to spend the night in Burial Immortal Town."

Li Weiyi knew nothing of the town's strange legends and felt no reverence for them.

Still, the sheer number of deaths there the previous day made him slightly uneasy.

Having already experienced many battles and witnessed the terrifying Soul Sea, Li Weiyi felt no fear, even though the ground around the town was stained with blood.

All the corpses had been cleared away.

Only small, unfamiliar creatures darted through the grass, licking the blood from the soil.

Upon reaching Burial Immortal Town, Li Weiyi dismounted and led his sturdy horse forward.

The sky grew darker, the sunset hues fading into cold tones.

A faint mist, either seeping slowly from the mountains and fields or rising in a swirling cloud from the roaring Dragon-Slaying Gorge Falls, blurred Li Weiyi's vision.

He glanced back warily, sensing something following him.

"Am I just being paranoid? This place doesn't feel like a peaceful haven. Please don't let any White Bone Demons or Camel Bell Ghosts appear."

Along the dirt road leading into the town stood numerous giant stone statues, stretching for miles.

Their massive heads, some weighing tens of thousands of pounds, others even hundreds of thousands, all gazed in the same direction.

Li Weiyi was reminded of the stone statues on Earth's Easter Island. He stopped and looked in the direction they were facing.

In the distance rose a majestic mountain peak, shaped like a pyramid. Birds circled its summit, and low-hanging clouds made it appear even more magnificent against the dark blue night sky.

Not only along the dirt road but also along the distant Shui River bank, countless stone statues stood sentinel.

"Burial Immortal Town... surely there's no actual immortal buried here?"

Li Weiyi chuckled to himself, leading the horse-drawn carriage into the desolate market, its ground stained a dark crimson by blood.

He didn't venture deep inside, instead choosed a relatively intact courtyard and entered directly.

Before long, a bonfire blazed in the courtyard.

Against the backdrop of mountains under the night sky, it stood out like a solitary lamp.

Li Weiyi transferred bag after bag of food from the carriage into the space within the Evil Camel Bell.

Since opening his third spring (acupoint), he could now activate the bell to a greater extent.

"I wonder if I can summon that three- or four-meter-tall camel. It feels like it could carry real objects. The bell might even hold an entire camel caravan..."

"I should wait until my cultivation realm is higher before trying."

After transferring all the food, Li Weiyi picked up the Evil Camel Bell. He noticed no significant change in its weight, further confirming its extraordinary nature.

To have mastered this object, Yu Tuonan must have been an extraordinary figure in his lifetime.

But why wasn't he as famous as Chan Hai Guanwu?

Sitting by the bonfire, Li Weiyi took out a jar of Golden Crow Blood and took a sip.

Suddenly, he realized that his rapid breakthrough might be entirely due to the Golden Crow Blood.

The Golden Crow was not an ordinary bird; its blood was incredibly precious.

Even the most talented Martial-Mystic Cultivators in this world, after a decade of diligent cultivation, would only manage to open four Springs.

Even if Zhao Zhizhuo had exaggerated the difficulty, it shouldn't be too far off.

But Li Weiyi was just an ordinary mortal, not a Deformed Humanoid or a Pure Immortal Physique.

Why was his cultivation speed so astonishingly fast?

It must be the Golden Crow Blood!

Li Weiyi finally understood everything.

When he returns to the Bronze Warship this time, he vowed to bring back more Golden Crow Blood.

He'd also try to cut off a few dozen pounds of Golden Crow meat and Black Dragon meat if possible.

He took out the cultivation manual Cang Li had given him, "The Nine Springs Compendium", and began to read it carefully.

The cultivation methods for the Spring Realm weren't particularly rare; anyone with enough money could buy them in many places.

But The Nine Springs Compendium's true value lay in its record of unique insights and experiences from numerous Martial-Mystic powerhouses of the Jiu Li Tribe.

By carefully studying these, young Cultivators could more easily open their springs (acupoints).

Cang Li knew that a mere Nine Springs Compendium couldn't repay such a great debt. He promised Li Weiyi that if he ever needed cultivation methods beyond the Spring Realm, he would provide them.

"The Nine Springs Compendium" was merely a gift between friends, not a matter of repayment or obligation.

"Dharma (Law): Spiritual Power born within, leaves the body and transforms into energy (Qi)."

"The Dao, the Fruit, and the Nirvana are the Dharma (Law), omnipresent and pervasive, filling the universe."

.....

As Li Weiyi read, he pondered.

He had learned some of the world's script from his Eldest Senior Sister, but he could only understand three or four out of ten characters.

He had to rely on the accompanying illustrations to comprehend the text, making it even more obscure than classical Chinese.

The compendium's outline roughly stated:

Law is the energy of heaven and earth, permeating all things in the world, yet invisible and intangible to Cultivators of lower realms.

Dharma (Law) is like water in the soil.

Cultivators use Breathing Techniques to draw Dharma (Law) into their vicinity, then opens springs (acupoints) within their bodies to channel Dharma (Law) into themselves.

This Dharma (Law) then transforms their physical form and becomes a power they can wield.

The stronger the Breathing Technique, the more Dharma (Law) a Cultivator can draw in at the same realm.

During intense exertion, a stronger Breathing Technique provides greater endurance, allowing a Cultivator to fight for an entire day without exhausting their Spiritual Power.

The more springs (acupoints) a Cultivator opens, the more resilient their physical form becomes, naturally increasing the amount of Spiritual Power they can mobilize.

"The Jade Void(Yuxu) Breathing Technique must be incredibly powerful," Li Weiyi mused.

"Even during that night when I was pursued by the Thousand-Headed Dragon Vine, only my body was exhausted, not my Spiritual Power."

Li Weiyi thought to himself, skipping the Breathing Technique recorded in "The Nine Springs Compendium" and turning directly to the Veins Meridian Diagram.

The diagram page was divided into male (left) and female (right).

Both male and female figures were covered in a dense network of fine lines, white, red, silver, and gold, radiating from the body's nine major springs (acupoints).

"Do the colors and number of veins meridians vary from person to person?"

Li Weiyi felt he didn't really need a Veins Meridian Diagram.

Every time he opened a spring (acupoint), he could simply grope around for a moment, and a dozen or so veins meridians would automatically manifest.

Why make things so complicated?

He was far more interested in "The Nine Springs Compendium's description of the nine springs (acupoints), eager to know their locations and how to open them.

The three springs (acupoints) he had opened so far had been entirely accidental, with no rhyme or reason.

If it weren't for the assistance of rare treasures like Golden Crow Blood, his mediocre mortal talent would have been fortunate enough to open even a single spring (acupoint).
