"Choose the reward you want. The options are: Spirit Power, Soul Realm Advancement, Cultivation Technique Mastery, or Primordial Force Law."
As Ta Ling had said, in Hard Mode, all rewards could be reselected.
Yun Jin didn't hesitate for a second and picked the Primordial Force Law reward.
This time, her goal was crystal clear. She was going to break through the Five Elements Primordial Force. With less than two years before the Sky City closed, she had to master the Five Elements Primordial Force within that time.
This was for the upcoming crisis.
And it was also preparation for the Polar Night Demon World.
Of the five elemental Primordial Forces, she only lacked the final one: Primordial Metal.
She had already grasped the gist of it during her campaigns against the Demon Clan. All that was left was the final super law: Impeccable Defense. She hadn't broken through it yet.
To truly master this super law, it wasn't just the law itself she had to overcome. Yun Jin had to perceive the True Meaning of the Primordial Metal first.
Primordial Metal… what was its True Meaning?
She had already understood the True Meaning of the other four elements in battle, without exception.
For the last one, she didn't hesitate—she would fight her way to understanding.
Primordial Metal was the path of assault. Only in extreme combat could she seize that faint insight lurking in the void. If there was anywhere she could fight without restraint, this Trial Tower was definitely it.
Hard Mode would give her the perfect battlefield.
This time, to refine her Primordial Metal, Yun Jin sealed the other elements and relied solely on Metal law power. She wanted to see how far the Metal law, representing the ultimate offensive, could carry her.
Floor One.
Another bull appeared.
Compared to Normal Mode, this bull was huge. Its speed and strength had been fully enhanced.
And scarier…
It wielded at least two super laws. Hard Mode lived up to its name. Even the first floor was something many couldn't reach at all.
Of course, for Yun Jin, it wasn't threatening yet. She watched its moves with amusement.
Using the system to analyze it, she noted the two super laws were rather unique.
One was called Fierce Impact.
The other was Weight of a Thousand Pounds.
Weight of a Thousand Pounds belonged to a Fifth-Rank Primordial Force: Primordial Body.
Fierce Impact belonged to a Fifth-Rank Primordial Force: Horns.
Neither were particularly powerful. Horns required extra conditions—having one or more on the head. Yun Jin couldn't control this.
Primordial Body…
Her eyes flickered.
The mortals in this small world were only beginning to cultivate simple body techniques. Over decades or centuries, some might break through the mortal body limits.
Even without innate Spirit Roots, their bodies would become like Spirit Roots forged by themselves. Their bodies could naturally absorb Spirit Power, forming a kind of body-based Spirit Root. In that case… could they comprehend Primordial Forces too?
Primordial Body might be a way out for mortals. If Yun Jin wanted to raise the strength of this small world's beings, mortals—being the majority—were the key.
For now, she could only point them toward a path. Whether they could walk it would depend on countless mortals together. Among billions, a prodigy might arise. One who would push the Primordial Body path to its limit.
Yun Jin found the idea thrilling.
After sparring with the bull and observing Weight of a Thousand Pounds, she finally struck it down and advanced to the second floor.
In Hard Mode, every monster from the first floor wielded at least one super law.
Yun Jin absorbed law power like a sponge in water.
While clearing the floors, she thought of two people.
One was Ji Wusi.
"Countless laws, and I break them with a single sword."
That was his style.
For Ji Wusi, the two Primordial Forces he comprehended served only his sword. One sword could break all laws. He specialized in one thing.
The other person was the Wan Dao Saint. This master, known as "All Paths," had comprehended countless Primordial Forces and super laws. Wan Dao Saint focused on many paths.
Yun Jin pondered herself. What path was she on?
It seemed like she was following the "many" path like the Wan Dao Saint. She had the law insights of all Wushuang Sect disciples. Though her focus was still on the Five Elements and Yin-Yang Primordial Forces, she had mastered quite a few other super laws.
If tallied, she probably already controlled more Primordial Forces than the Wan Dao Saint had.
But Yun Jin knew clearly, her strongest, ultimate trump card was still the Yin-Yang Primordial Force. Though she hadn't fully mastered it, it was a first-rank Primordial Force. Even without complete control, it was stronger than many fully mastered forces.
Many or focused? Which path was she really on?
She fought through the floors while contemplating.
By the time she finished the first ten floors, she smiled. In the endless void of this small world flowed a river of laws, gathering all the beings' law comprehension.
Even this small world's law river was vast beyond measure.
What about the law river of the Immortal Realm?
Or the God Realm?
Or even the legendary chaos?
Within boundless chaos, were there the two ultimate super Primordial Forces said to be uncontrollable?
Primordial Time!
Primordial Space!
Within them lay the ultimate secrets of the universe.
Those who could master Time and Space would transcend the universe itself and become supreme. If the Time-Space Primordial Forces were the final goal,
The road to them scattered countless other Primordial Forces along the way.
Like endless stages.
She could only approach the universe's origin step by step by mastering each one along the path, inching closer to the Time-Space Primordial Forces.
Five Elements, Yin-Yang, Reincarnation…
All Primordial Forces seemed different,
But their end was the same—the singular Time-Space Primordial Forces. Only by mastering enough "many" could one reach the ultimate "focus." Each new Primordial Force she mastered brought her closer to the final goal.
But the universe was vast and infinite. Its mysteries were endless. Alone, reaching the end was nearly impossible.
Yun Jin's eyes gleamed with contemplation. Now, with the Sect Master's Residence, she could access all Wushuang Sect disciples' insights. What if, in the future, she could access the insights of all beings in a small world—or countless small worlds?
Yun Jin thought of the Dao Fruit in the system space, filled with endless law power.
That Dao Fruit was likely exactly that. This one belonged to the small world.
Then, what about the Polar Night Demon World? Other small worlds?
Would they each have their own Dao Fruit?
With enough Dao Fruits, she could walk further along the path to the ultimate.
Floor Ten.
Yun Jin smiled faintly and moved to attack the tower's monsters.
Her path into the future was already clear.
Next…
Would be unrestrained slaughter.

I personally think Yun Jin is already walking that path. If we remember that she is a being who constantly reincarnates (according to Ta Ling's words), there's a huge possibility that in the past, she wanted to master the Primordial Force. Or perhaps she has another reason for continuing to reincarnate.
I mean, if we look at Ta Ling and the other things she has, it's clear that her past self was someone very powerful, or at the very least, already stood at the peak
