Niššīku surges pink mana.
The ant king lunges before anyone can blink and kicks Mime straight in the chest, sending him flying back inside the mall.
Niššīku backhands Yves, Yves manages to block just in time, but still gets sent flying through buildings far away.
'Yes, this body is fast now…' Niššīku thinks as he grabs Renai and slams him into a wall.
Renai punches Niššīku in the chest, Niššīku drops him for a moment.
Renai follows it up with an uppercut right on the jaw of the ant king Niššīku.
Niššīku clenches his mandibles and double axe handles Renai on the forehead, knocking him onto the floor.
Niššīku grabs him and starts running into buildings, slamming Renai all over the place.
Niššīku jumps high in the air and slams Renai into a car.
'I can't attack him with Mana… how do I beat this thing…' Renai thinks, struggling.
Renai gets up and creates distance, he lifts the car up and launches it quickly at Niššīku.
"Fool."
Niššīku cuts the car into three pieces with his claws.
As the car flies past him, he can't see Renai anywhere.
"I can smell you, human."
Niššīku turns around and blocks a heavy punch thrown by Renai.
He tries to grab Renai, but he turns into smoke.
Renai appears behind him once again and drives a heavy knee into Niššīku's gut, he jumps some distance away after connecting.
"Dirty human, all of that… for nothing. You can't hurt me anymore." Niššīku says.
Renai gets in fighting position, ignoring him.
'If I hit him with my mana, he'll just awaken it for himself… this is tricky…' Renai thinks.
Niššīku tilts his head, mandibles clicking once, pink mana radiating off his body,
The ant king steps forward, then vanishes.
Renai barely raises his guard before the ant king appears behind him and kicks him in between the shoulder blades.
He shoots across the asphalt and smashes onto the hood of a delivery van.
Renai drags himself off the crushed hood as Niššīku drops from above with a heavy stomp. Renai rolls to the side at the last second and the van caves in under Niššīku's feet, the entire street collapsing.
Renai charges, Niššīku meets him halfway, with his claw raised. The two crash hard against each other.
Renai's armor rings loudly as he blocks Niššīku first slash.
Renai swings back, a straight punch aimed for the ant king's throat, but Niššīku quickly shifts his neck unhumanly, making his punch miss.
Niššīku grabs Renai's head with one hand and slams him into the street.
"Humans are so weak…" Niššīku says.
Niššīku lifts him up again and again, slamming him down a second time, then a third. Shaking the ground each time.
"Hmm… let's test this new mana of mine…" Niššīku says as he stands over Renai.
Renai coughs slowly,
"It's not your mana… it's my student's…"
Niššīku stares at him for a moment before yanking him up by the chest plate again.
Niššīku throws him up in the air rapidly, spinning helplessly.
Niššīku spreads his wings and launches after him, cutting through the air rapidly with a shockwave.
He catches Renai midair by the leg and whips him down.
Renai crashes through the roof of a tall office building, tearing through every floor and debris until he bursts out the building out in the street.
Renai tries to stand, but Niššīku dives after him and kicks him across the face.
The hit sends Renai sliding down the street, he smashes into a parked car, flipping over it and landing on his back.
Before Renai can even lift his head, Niššīku is already there.
He grabs Renai by the arm and whips him across the intersection.
Renai slams into a bus stop.
Nearby, mana officers are helping the surviving civilians to safety.
"Mr. Renai!! What are you doing here? Do you need assistance? Just say the word sir!!" One of them says.
Niššīku walks toward him again, pink mana flaring around him.
"I'm bored now."
Renai pushes himself up to one knee, armor battered and cracked.
"I-I got it… don't worry, Mr. Officer…" Renai gives a thumbs up, weakly.
The other officers stare at the scene in shock, they give each other a brief look and nod.
They prepare to charge at Niššīku.
"Stay back. All of you!!" Renai yells.
"I know you want to fight beside me… and I'm grateful, more than you know. Your courage means everything. But this is where I stand, and where you must trust me."
The officers stop in their tracks in shock.
"This burden… let me hold it a little longer…"
Renai finally stands tall before Niššīku
"This pain… let me take it, so you don't have to…"
"Understand… your lives mean more to me than my own!!" Renai yells.
"What are you rambling about?" Niššīku taunts as he approaches.
The civilians around start tearing up at the heroic display.
Renai weakly tackles and holds Niššīku for dear life.
"You can do it…!! You can do it, Mr. Renai!!" A kid in the crowd yells, breaking through the sobs.
Niššīku knees Renai away.
"Enough of your blabbering, time to end this." Niššīku says
"You're our big brother, The artist of Justice!! You can do it, Renai!!" The kid yells from the crowd again.
"That's right, get him!" A man from the crowd yells,
"We're counting on you, Renai!" The crowd starts cheering Renai on.
"You can do it!!"
"Beat him up!!!"
Renai's mana erupts into different colors, red, yellow, and different shades of blue.
Niššīku raises one claw over him, ready to end it.
