The following day, as everyone woke up, Licht said, "What time is it? The sun is far too bright."
Eldrie barely looked at the clock and said, "It says 3 pm. Someone tell the sun it's 3 hours early."
Lara said, "Nora, you do it."
Nora said, "What side is the sun again?"
Gelda, waking up on the couch, said, "The sun rises in the north and sets in the east."
Liebe said, "Can you guys just be a bit more quiet? I think I'll sleep through this headache."
Alysa said, "What century is this?"
Elizabeth said, "I think it's the 21st century."
M said, "Someone please just dim the light."
Isurugi said, "Good morning, everyone. But I think good afternoon is more appropriate."
Liebe said, "Why the hell are you up at 3 am?"
Isurugi said, "The captain sent me on an errand to get some pineapple juice for everyone, since I was the only one who wasn't totally wasted. And actually, it's 3 pm."
Liebe said, "Why? And get me a glass."
Isurugi said, "Of course. And it's just that we wolf demi-humans don't get drunk easily."
Liebe said, "Teach me your wisdom, oh great one."
Isurugi said, "Sir, you are far too drunk. Here is a glass."

Eldrie said, "Get me a barrel of it."

Liebe said, "Wait, it's 3 pm?"

Liebe said, "Great."

Liebe said, "Ok then, let's enjoy today as well."
Eldrie said, "That's the spirit," as he vomits on the floor.
Liebe said, "Get someone to clean this place up."
Lara said, "Sure."
Liebe said, "And you guys get up later around 7 pm when everyone's sober."
Liebe said, "Well, now that we all are awake, let's get our shit together."
Licht said, "Well, last night was a bit much."
Liebe said, "First of all, who is the dumbass who gave alcohol to a kid?"
Lara said, "Guilty."
Liebe said, "Dumbass, why the hell did you do it?"
Lara said, "Well, I'm growing old and I will probably die soon, so I thought might as well enjoy a drink with my daughter."
Liebe said, "Idiot, she is 7 and you are barely 42. You won't die that easy."
Lara said, "Sorry about that."
Liebe said, "Gelda, please punch her for me."
Gelda said, "Of course," as Gelda punched Lara.
Lara said, "Well, that actually hurt."
Liebe said, "After the crap you pulled, you probably deserve that."
Eldrie said, "Well, that was that. Last night was the most fun I had since at least 2 weeks ago."
Liebe said, "Good to know. And also, Eldrie and Nora, congrats on being engaged, you two."
Nora said, "You noticed, Lord?"
Eldrie said, "Of course he did."
Liebe said, "Yeah, I noticed the matching rings."
Eldrie said, "And one more thing, Lord."
Liebe said, "Sure."
Eldrie said, "Can you please be the best man at our wedding? And Licht, Stal, and Kiddo, you three will be the groomsmen."
Liebe said, "Me?"
Eldrie said, "Please, Lord, since you have been like a little brother to me, so it would mean a lot."
Liebe said, "Of course."
Isurugi said, "But why me in the groomsmen?"
Eldrie said, "Because you are part of the group. You are like the pet of the knighthood."
Liebe said, "Makes sense. But what is Licht then?"

Nora said, "And for my maid of honour, Gelda, will you?"
Gelda said, "But why me? Take someone young."
Nora said, "Please, Gelda, ever since I joined here, you have been like an older sister to me, so please."
Gelda said, "Fine, then."
Nora said, "And of course, Lara and the Captain will be the bride's maids."
Gelda said, "Now I'm worried."
Nora said, "Why?"
Gelda said, "The last wedding we went to, Lilith ended up drunk before the reception."
Nora said, "Sounds exciting. And Lara, can we please make Lara the flower girl?"
Lara said, "Of course."

Licht said, "Fine by me."
M said, "I don't mind that."
Liebe said, "For me, team leader. Licht, you are the vice captain and sniper. M, you are the vanguard. Alysa, you are the nutritionist. Isurugi, strategist. Fate, you are the financer. And Elizabeth, you are support. And Gaia, you are our healer."
Licht said, "We are counting on you, zombie."
Gaia said, "Of course. Now, if you guys have any complaints, please say so."
Isurugi raised his hand. Liebe said, "Yes, Isurugi?"
Isurugi said, "Personally, sir, I must disagree. I doubt someone like me should be in such a prestigious position."
Liebe said, "I disagree. I have seen your foresight. In the long run, you will be more useful."
Isurugi said, "I will try."
Liebe said, "Now that's the spirit. And now, Team Liebe, time for our first work: beg Professor Obsidian to forgive us for taking a gap year."
Licht said, "And as the leader, Liebe will take charge while we all wait outside for being absent for more than a year."
M said, "Sounds great."
Alysa said, "Agreed."
Fate said, "Seems logical."
Elizabeth said, "Of course."
Isurugi said, "Works for me. And Gelda, where exactly is the captain?"
Gelda said, "Well, Lilith is still blackout drunk."
Liebe said, "Ok then."
And later that night, as Liebe was outside, M joined him.
M said, "Mind if I join?"
Liebe said, "Sure. So, how has your progress been? Were you able to say it?"
M said, "No, I can't talk to her. Not until I have become someone I can be proud of. Till then, I don't have the right to talk to her."
Liebe said, "Listen, I understand how you feel, but don't waste time. Because otherwise, what will you do if it's too late? The regret of not being able to say it is the worst hell someone can feel. You don't need to feel that."
M said, "I can't, after what happened."
Liebe said, "Your wish. Just don't start crying if the moment never arrives. And remember, know the difference between your goal and your wish."
M said, "You have turned wise."
Liebe said, "Guess so."
