The day before, in Liebe's office:
Mia said, "Sir, where have you been all day?"
Licht said, "Oh, me? I have been working on a little project. The game is about to get fun."
Mia said, "Sorry, sir?"
Licht said, "Mia, if someone offered you bait, would you take it despite knowing it's bait?"
Mia said, "I would not, sir."
Licht said, "I certainly would. The moment the bait was placed on the hook, it was obviously meant to be sacrificed. And since it's being served to me on a silver platter, why not enjoy the taste?"
Mia said, "I still don't understand, sir."
Licht said, "You will."
Fate said, "I'm also failing to understand, sir."
Licht said, "Oh, you will."
Later that night, Licht was outside Arcame Prison. Soon he saw Harzen leaving. Licht put on the Mask of Ifrit Mythical Model Ifrit and followed Harzen from a 750m distance. When Harzen stopped, Licht thought, Oh, he knows I'm here. Interesting. He really was just bait. The game just got interesting.
"Now, Light Magic: Flash of Light!" And with his speed, he was in front of Harzen. From fear, Harzen was on the ground as Licht put his sword's edge on Harzen's heart.
He said, "Now then, Warden, let's talk, lie, and I can assure you your heart will be the special kebab tonight."
Harzen said, "Please let me go. I will do anything. Please just let me go."
Seeing the genuine fear on Harzen's face, Licht smiled as his theory was correct. Harzen really did just stop on the way and didn't figure out Licht was following him.
Licht said, "You really are worthless. Stay the hell out of our way." As Licht went away.
Then, when entering HQ:
Mia said, "Sir, where have you been?"
Licht said, "Me? I was just enjoying the fruits of my labour."
As Lia saw the blood on Licht's glove:
Mia said, "Sir, are you alright?"
Licht said, "I'm alright. Tonight was very entertaining."
As Licht smelled the stir fry and said, "Gelda, that smells good."
Gelda said, "Good. I made Liebe's favourites. Go deliver them to the prison."
Licht said, "I'm way too tired since I just went this morning to deliver the tarts."
Gelda said, "Alright."
During dinner, when Elizabeth grabbed the extra food and left:
Licht said, "Well, that was entertaining."
Gelda said, "Yes, yes it was. Now then, so how is your progress?"
Licht said, "Good. I have achieved all I needed. The Warner is just a fool. All bait, nothing else."
Gelda said, "Interesting."
Licht said, "Here is my body cam footage. If he is smart, he will cooperate like a good dog. Otherwise, he will die a painful death by Liebe's hands. Either way, we will have successfully demonstrated our strength."
Mia said, "Sorry, sir, what happened? I'm failing to understand."
Licht said, "Well, you know how we went to Arcame Prison and I said the warden gave me the impression of a celebrity rather than a working warden?"
Mia said, "Yes."

36 hours later, the morning after the massacre:
Liebe said, "Guess I should call Gelda."
As Liebe entered the warden's office:
Liebe said, "Hey, Arzoks, I need something."
Arzoks said, "Yes, sir. What do you need? Your wish is my command."
Liebe said, "Get Gelda on the line for me."
Arzoks said, "Understood, sir."
As Liebe went away, soon Gelda arrived.
Gelda said, "Lord, you asked? By the way, Liebe, you do have a transwarp key. Just a snap and I will come running."
Liebe said, "I know, but I'm far too annoyed with this place. For once, I want to see the shades of my strength in the eyes of the warden."
Gelda said, "Good choice."
Liebe said, "Now, what mission am I needed for?"
Gelda said, "Here is your uniform. Let's go."
Liebe said, "Where?"
Gelda said, "Just do it."
Liebe said, "Sure." As Liebe got ready.
Gelda said, "Here are your captain's boots."
Liebe said, "Fine."
As Liebe was ready:
Gelda said, "Let's go."
Liebe said, "Wait a second. What is happening? Mind explaining?"
Gelda said, "Perhaps it's for the best if someone else explains."
Liebe said, "Huh? What?"
Gelda said, "Someone exceptional has asked for your help. I suppose it's for the best if he is the one who explains."
As they walked through the portal:
Liebe said, "What are we now, mercenaries?"
As they went through, they were at the capital. Part of the castle was repaired, and they went inside.
Liebe said, "So, who wanted to see me?"
Gelda said, "The King—King David El Eldoria—wanted to see you."
Liebe said, "Alright then."
As they reached the king's room, Asten and David were waiting.
Liebe went on his knees and said, "Your Majesty—"
David said, "Stand up." As he instructed every guard to leave, including Gelda and Asten.
Liebe said, "Umm, Your Majesty, your graciousness—I don't think you want to be locked in a room alone with the traitor of humanity."
David said, "What if that is exactly what I want and I'm being turned on by excitement right this moment?"
Liebe said, "Gelda, get me out of here. This guy is a psycho. He is—I think I would rather be locked up in prison with my dignity intact than being in a room alone with a gay king who wants to take my dignity piece by piece."
David said, "I was kidding. But everyone in this room trusts you with their 100%."
As everyone else left:
Liebe said, "Now then, Your Majesty, what do you want from me?"
As David went on his knees to beg, he was crying.
David said, "Liebe, you have to help me. Please, I beg of you!" As he begged in tears.
Liebe said, "A king shouldn't be bowing to a traitor." As he helped him up, he said, "Your Majesty, please—"
David grabbed Liebe's hand and said, "Please, I beg of you. My sister, Aina El Eldoria, and Guilford have been kidnapped during the battle a few nights ago. In the process, Claire was injured. Please, Liebe, I beg of you."
Liebe said, "What, Your Majesty? And just send an army—I know you can. Or like, give their demands. Why do you need me?"
David said, "It was a Sin who kidnapped her, Liebe. Their demand was you. I know my father placed his trust in you, and you are the one who taught my sister. I, as a king, have no right to ask you to risk your life on a gamble that can't be won. But please, get her back, Liebe. I'm begging you. Save her. If anything happens to her, I can never show my face to our father in the afterlife. I want to keep that little girl as far away as possible from this world of blood. You are the only one, Liebe, who can save her."
Liebe said, "A Sin, huh? Alright then. Who is it?"
David said, "Envy. With her string magic, she is a deadly foe."
Liebe said, "It's OK. Get me my swords."
David, amidst tears, grabbed Liebe's hand tightly and said, "Thank you. Thank you, Liebe. I promise, with my honour and word as a king, you shall be the next king after this."
Liebe said, "No. I don't want it. Keep the dumbass crown. I want something else."
David said, "I understand. Your hero status will be restored once more. The trial will declare you innocent."
Liebe said, "No. I couldn't care less about those. I want something else different. Your support."
David said, "You have always had that, and I will continue."
Liebe said, "And for that, I thank you. I need 2 hours to prepare and their location."
David said, "Of course. Your team has been notified. They will be here soon."
Liebe said, "No need. I will do it alone. They don't need to be bothered by my personal endeavours. But before that, get me a healer. Make sure I'm in top shape physically. And tell Gelda to get me Lara. That's all. I will sortie in 2 hours."
Meanwhile, in the Empire, Horn took the identity of Helios Soul and joined Alysa's academy as a new transfer student. As she entered the class:
The teacher said, "Mrs. Helios, please introduce yourself."
Helios said, "I'm Helios Soul. My hobbies include research, studies, and practice."
