As Fang picked up Eosian, Liebe said, "You guys see? It's all under control."
As Alysa and Licht were still hugging:
Liebe said, "Why are you hugging?"
Licht said, "No reason at all."
Alysa said, "Yup, not at all. We aren't scared of any murderers on this dragon."
Licht said, "Nope, none at all."
Alysa said, "We don't even know how to generalize people."
Liebe said, "Fine. But you clowns should really look at yourselves."
As they reached the location, 1600 km deep into the Abyssal Zone:
Alysa said, "So why are we here now?"
Liebe said, "Well, last time I didn't get to take the monster parts and use them, so that's why I'm here now. Fang, get me the pieces."
As Fang gave a growl of yes and walked away, he returned a few minutes later with the corpses of the Quetzalcoatls and the Alpha Quetzalcoatl, dragging their corpses with his mouth.
Liebe said, "Good boy." As Liebe threw a piece of Quetzalcoatl meat into his mouth and Fang ate it.
Alysa said, "So what are you planning to do?"
Liebe said, "Upgrade our weapons and let Fang and Titan eat the rest."
Alysa said, "Who is Titan?"
Liebe said, "Well—"
Licht said, "My familiar."
Liebe said, "Licht, looks like I was mistaken. We will need about 2 more Alpha Quetzalcoatls."
Licht said, "Umm, that seems like work."
Liebe said, "For the ones we are against now, we need it."
Licht said, "Fine."
Liebe said, "I will fire up the forge."
Eosian said, "What forge? There is nothing here."
Liebe said, "You are mistaken. There doesn't need to be a blacksmith. A blacksmith must know how to forge in every situation. Now, Attribute: Steel Magic—Iron and Pot." As Liebe made a stove and pot.
Liebe said, "Now time for some wood." As he got some wood and lit the stove.
Liebe said, "Now time to prepare the main ingredient: crushed Alpha Quetzalcoatl heart."
As in the crushed mixture, Liebe said, "Now, Attribute: Steel Magic—Mercury and Gold." As he poured a bit of mercury and gold.
Alysa said, "But why the gold and mercury?"
Liebe said, "Simple. The monster heart is full of magical power, but transferring it to a weapon takes significant time. Similar to how certain chemical reactions require a catalyst, the same principle applies here. For some Quetzalcoatl blood, and to seal the deal, my own blood—about 5 drops." As he readies the mixture.
Liebe said, "Now it's done." As he dipped his sword in it, and now the sword was as good as new.
Soon, Licht got the other two Alpha Quetzalcoatls, and he did the same for Licht's blade but used 15 drops of Licht's blood instead of his own. He let Fang drink the mixture in the first cauldron and saved the second one for Titan. After consuming it, Fang grew in size from 150 m to 175 m.
Liebe said, "Fang, Fire Blast Sky."
As Fang let out a black flame fire breath, it was so hot that even Eosian's armour was melting.
Eosian said, "What the hell is that? It's as hot as the sun!"
Liebe said, "Yes. Until now, Fang was able to create fire breaths up to temperatures of 5000°C, but now it can rise up to 6000°C."
As Fang let out a growl that basically meant "Praise me," he saw a butterfly and chased it.
Liebe said, "He may seem a bit brutish, but he likes to play. Fang, here. Dark Magic: Dark Orb." As he made a giant ball about 3m in radius, Fang ate it.
Alysa said, "That was—"
Liebe said, "My darkness. Since I hatched him with my dark flames, he likes it. It's a treat for him. He can taste creations of my darkness, but they don't provide any nutrients to him, so I let him enjoy it once in a while. But for now, my work is done for now. So let's have some fun. Eosian, go with Licht, get me some fruits or something. Shoo, shoo. Make yourself useful for once."
As they went:
Alysa said, "By the way, I want to know something."
Liebe said, "Sure."
As Eosian's communicator rang, it was Liebe.
Liebe said, "Yo, Eosian, I'm on second base with your sister. And damn, bro, I thought she was so flat, but she is so soft, squishy, and nice."
Eosian screamed, "What?"
Liebe said, "I'm moving to third base. And damn, is it wet in here. And here I thought it would be dry today. Why didn't you tell me third base was so curvy and soft?"
Eosian screamed, "You bastard!" As he rushed back to see Liebe and Alysa were playing baseball. Liebe was on third base on an uneven surface, and on the bat was written "Your Sister." The bat was made of rubber, so it was soft and squishy.
Liebe said, "Yo, back so soon?"
Alysa said, "Welcome back. Any luck with berries?"
Eosian was now embarrassed seeing Liebe's double meaning words.
Liebe said, "You see, Alysa? That's why perception can be tricked."
Alysa said, "Yeah, I see now. Now, Eosian, let's go. Fang, with me. Licht, you coming?"
Licht said, "Nah, I will stay here and eat whatever she brought. Smells delicious already."
Alysa said, "Oh yeah, I brought sandwiches."
Licht said, "Don't mind if I do."
Alysa said, "Please go ahead."
As Licht went ham on the ham sandwiches, Liebe and Fang returned.
Alysa said, "Where is Eosian?"
Liebe said, "Pissing by the river. By the way, I know Fang may seem like a beast, and for the most part he is, but he is also an intellectual with 9 master's degrees, 2 PhDs, and 15 bachelor's degrees."
Alysa said, "What?"
Licht said, "As if."
Liebe said, "Fang, show them your Shakespeare philosophy."
As Fang stood on two legs, raised one of his claws like a finger, and in full confidence said, "Rawn rawr rawr rawr rawr rawr rawr rawr rawr rawr rawr," and then gave a double thumbs up and the biggest dragon smile in the world.
Liebe said, "It was beautiful."
Licht said, "Dude, that doesn't mean anything."
Alysa said, "What does it even mean?"
Liebe said, "How am I supposed to know? I didn't teach him what it means."
Alysa said, "What?"
Licht said, "Dude, that doesn't count."
Liebe said, "Fine then. I will show you something the likes of which you have never seen before."
Licht whispered to Alysa, "Pretty sure it's more rawrs."
Liebe said, "Fang, state your qualifications."
As Fang opened his mouth, he said, "Greetings. I'm Fang Faust. I have 2 PhD degrees, 9 master's degrees, and 15 bachelor's degrees. I have PhDs in Pharmaceuticals and Astrophysics. I have master's degrees in Philosophy, Law, Art, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceuticals, Astrophysics, Food Science, and English. I have held a patent for creating the drug for 'I can't go on this island or I will die' disease."
Licht said, "Huhhh? What? He actually has a drug? We need to get that drug to Usopp or Sogeking on Sniper Island."
Alysa said, "Huh? What?"
As liebe laughed he said ,"don't tell anyone I told you this but, I actually only passed my third year of knighthood academy by copying off of him."
Licht said , "huhhh what is that why you went to the toilet 500 times in a 3 hour exam."
Liebe said ," yup."
Fang said, "Would you care to join me for a lovely game of rock paper scissors? But again, in today's humidity, I feel like checkers will be far more appropriate. And by the way, my hobbies include chasing butterflies throughout the Vale Estate. And my favourite dinners include whales, but snacks like ox are welcome. Not to mention, I adore the exquisite dark orbs my father makes. They are rich in flavour, slightly bitter yet sweet, just like dark chocolate with 0.5% sugar."
Alysa said, "You can eat chocolate?"
Fang said, "I'm a dragon, Aunt Alysa. Not a dog that mere chocolate would be enough to kill me."
Alysa said, "Can I know the product formula for your patent?"
Liebe said, "Huh? I see what you are doing. Trying to get the formula so you can file it now and get it approved first as a godkin and scam my son?"
Alysa said, "It isn't like that."
Licht said, "Wait, since when can you talk?"
Fang said, "Since I was born, Uncle. I tried to talk to you, but you always replied with 'Let me sleep.' Not to mention how brutish you humans really are, just expecting we are too stupid to talk."
Alysa said, "Wait, can you talk because you are an Alpha Tyrant Dragon?"
Fang said, "No, no, no, Aunt Alysa. We familiars can speak. All of us. Even your Death Gripper, Stella. We simply don't wish to engage in meaningless conversation with humans."
Alysa said, "Huh? Patent? PhD? Master's degrees? Even I can't complete my 3rd master's this fast, and he is just 3 years old? Meaningless conversations?"
As the information was too much to process at once, Licht and Alysa fainted just trying to process everything that just happened.
Liebe said, "Do it. Fang, spit out the garbage."
As Fang spit out Eosian and growled in such a way that stated, "Don't put anything this disgusting in my mouth ever again."
Liebe patted him on the claw and said, "Disgusting, am I right?"
Fang gave a growl that basically stated, "Yup. Never eating that again."
Eosian said, "I'm the one who was in the mouth of the dragon!"
Liebe said, "Yeah, and you were most convincing too. Good job. At least you are good for something. By the way, it was hilarious seeing you talk from Fang's mouth. It was very convincing indeed."
As Liebe carried Alysa, held her gently, and said, "Let's get you home. And Fang, carry Licht."
As Fang carried Licht and Eosian in his claws, Liebe carried Alysa in his arms and said, "You are still as warm and beautiful as ever. And now that I look at you from here, I see why I decided to throw myself at the heart of every war just to protect your heart."
As soon they landed in the Bouduin Estate and placed Alysa in her bed:
Oriar said, "Why did she faint?"
Liebe said, "Perhaps it was the stress, since her engagement did just break off a few days ago. Not to mention the dense magic in the Abyssal Zone."
Oriar said, "I see."
As Liebe left, thinking, *To me, you are the most precious thing in the world.*
