Later, Liebe let Horn do the paperwork as he went to sleep. As he was sleeping in his office, he dreamt of the day he was 3.
He rushed into the forest and along the way he tripped and fell and scraped his knee. As he got up, he thought, *What do I do now? I swear Mommy and I aren't that far away. Hide and seek in the forest is so much fun.*
A giant 2-meter-tall tiger was in front of him.
Liebe screamed, "Yeahhh! Tiger! I'm going to play with you! Can I ride you?"
As the tiger was getting ready to attack him, Liebe thought, *Now I wish Licht and Alysa were here. I could have shown them too.*
As the tiger was growling as an intimidation display, Liebe said, "Tiger, was that you? Are you hungry? Guess your stomach said it for you."
As Lilith came and picked him up, she said, "That's where you were, Liebe. I really had a hard time finding you."
Liebe said, "Mommy, you found me!"
Lilith said, "I sure did." As she tickled his stomach.
Liebe said, "Wait, did you use that mana resonance thing again to find me?"
Lilith, now trying to lie, said, "No, no. I really did look. Mana resonance isn't like that, you know." As she saw his knee and said, "But Liebe, how did you get hurt?"
Liebe said, "I ran and fell, and then I found me tiger here."
Lilith said, "Oh, I see. So the tiger did this to you? Let's heal you first. Void Magic: Darkest Light." As she healed it. Lilith said, "You see? All better now."
Liebe said, "Yeahhh! Mommy, you are the best!"
Lilith said, "Now about that damn tiger—"
As the tiger growled, ready to attack, Lilith gave it a mean look and said, "Get lost!" From her mana, the tiger was scared and ran away.
Liebe said, "Why did you do that, Mommy? I wanted to ride them. He was my friend."
Lilith said, "Ohh, I'm sorry, Liebe. Let's get that tiger." As Lilith ran to it, gave it a mean look, and said, "Stop!" As she let Liebe ride the tiger.
Lilith said, "Fun, right?"
Liebe said, "Super fun!"
As it was getting sundown and they were in the forest:
Liebe said, "Mommy, I'm hungry."
Lilith said, "Well then, let's have dinner."
As a bear was watching them and lunged at them to attack, Lilith said, "Come on." As she stopped the bear with one hand and slammed it to the ground.
Lilith screamed, "Liebe, I just got us dinner! Let's start the campfire."
Liebe said, "Yeahhh! Bear! I'm starving!"
Lilith said, "Now watch this." As she gathered sticks, poured some concentrated alcohol on it, and created some sparks by rubbing the edges of her sword. Lilith said, "See? Easy."
Liebe said, "Dark Magic: Hell Flame!" As he threw his flame. Liebe said, "Easy."
Lilith said, "Come on, I wanted it to be cool."
Liebe said, "You are the coolest mommy in the world, Mommy."
Lilith said, "Uhh, thank you."
As they cooked the bear:
Lilith said, "Tiger, go get some." Seeing Lilith, the tiger was smart enough to realize she was a different breed.
Lilith said, "So what should we do next?"
Liebe said, "Destroy or Seek."
Lilith said, "OK. Can I use my holy relic?"
Liebe said, "OK. Let's do it."
Lilith said, "Alright. You go first."
Liebe said, "Okie dokie. Now, Dark Magic: Cerberus!" As Cerberus was created. Liebe said, "Now, Dark Magic: Unity Flames of Afar!" As Cerberus launched a flame breath and Liebe's flame thrower together turned every tree in about a 20 sq m area to ash, not to mention starting a wildfire.
Lilith said, "Good job. I'm so proud of you. Mommy's little helper. Time for my attack. Summon Holy Relic: Orb of Dominance—Black Hole, go!" As the holy relic flew away to the center of the forest and expanded as a black hole. The black hole expanded and stopped at an area of 300 sq m. All that the black hole consumed turned to dust.
Lilith said, "Looks like I win."
Liebe said, "Come on, Mommy. Show me how to do that. Show me! Show me!"
Lilith said, "Alright. Since my void magic is similar, you should be able to do what I can do. It works like this: calm yourself or something. But basically, think of something that consumes, and well, that's it."
Liebe said, "Lemme try. Lemme try."
Lilith said, "Alright. OK."
As Domr showed up behind them and said, "Yo."
Liebe said, "Grandpa!"
Domr said, "There you are, my favourite grandchild."
Liebe said, "Grandpa, Mommy taught me how to eat bear. We had so much fun riding Mr. Tiger. Mommy even cooked bear, and it was yucky. We even destroyed stuff."
Domr said, "Interesting. Watch this, Liebe. Now, Dark Magic: Dark Water!" As dark liquid flowed from his hands to the 300-meter-wide crater. Domr said, "Watch carefully, OK? Watch what our magic is truly capable of. Now, Dark Magic: The World Tree's Endless Blessing!" As from the ground, trees grew, grass spread, and flowers bloomed.
Liebe said, "Grandpa, that's so cool! How did you do it?"
Domr said, "I allowed my magic to flow into nature as nutrients, and thus here we are. Mana needs to flow for proper growth."
Liebe said, "I didn't get any of that or what it means."
Lilith said, "Honestly, same here."
Domr said, "Well, let's go home for tonight. It is already 7 PM."
As they got home, Liebe and Lilith tried to sneak in.
Tenebris said, "And what were you two doing today?"
Lilith said, "Ohhhh, us? Umm, we were—"
Liebe said, "Daddy, we were playing hide and seek in the forest, and then we rode a tiger, ate a bear. It was so much fun!"
Tenebris said, "Is that so, Lilith?"
Lilith said, "Listen, I can explain—"
As he pulled her ear:
Tenebris said, "Stop letting our son go to dangerous places and fight tigers."
Lilith said, "Trust me, it wasn't dangerous at all. It was just a tiger."
Gelda said, "So that's why you sneaked him off to the forest for no good reason, you dumbass?"
Lilith said, "Trust me, Gelda, it's OK. What's the worst thing that will happen?"
Tenebris said, "Listen, I'm not as strong as you people. So if you weren't around, I don't know what would have happened." As Tenebris kneeled down, he said, "Listen, son. I get it, the tiger was fun, but it was dangerous too. You could have gotten hurt, or the tiger could have. Please try to stay safe and not rush in."
Liebe said, "Fine, Daddy."
As Tenebris stood up, Lilith kneeled down and whispered, "Same time, same place tomorrow?"
Liebe said, "Deal. I will sneak out the back."
Lilith said, "I will sneak out of work. OK." As they gave a thumbs up.
Seeing those two scheming, Gelda and Tenebris just sighed.
