Opening the door, Muichiro walked inside.
Upon entering, Muichiro glanced around the whole room
Trays carrying food and drinks scattered all over the floor, bed rearranged. The white wall now stained with red and other colors.
'Seems she is not okay huh'
The room was in a mess
Lost in his thoughts, the door of the bathroom opened snapping Muichiro back to reality
Walking out of the door was Rika wearing an oversized white cloth, her hair a mess and she had dark circles under her eyes either from excessive crying or sleep deprivation.
"You look nice" Muichiro said faking a smile
"You mean a mess" Rika said before casually walking back to her seat
"So, did you come here to give me a pep talk because I don't want to hear" Rika said crossing her legs lazing around
Muichiro just continued staring at her looked around the whole room lost in his thoughts not sure what to say
"You can just abandon her right" Detilion said mockingly
Muichiro shot a glare at Detilion before sighing
'You really have no empathy in your life, do you?'
'What do you expect, I am a Seraph, something meant for you to wield as an Apostle'
"I keep telling you, I am not an apostle and would never be one"
'Huh, keep lying to yourself but what are you going to do about that'
Muichiro turned to look at Rika who was still waiting for his answer
"Tch"
"Muichiro, you there" Rika said in anger
Muichiro snapped back to reality before looking at here once again
"I wan—"
"Hold it right there" Rika said stopping Muichiro in his tracks
"I want to know Muichiro, Can I rise again?"
Muichiro looked at Rika whose facial expression carried something of worry for herself
"I don't know"
As soon as Muichiro said that, he instantly regretted it
Looking at Rika as tear drops had begun falling from her eyes
"Yeah, Muichiro you are right. I am not capable of being a leader which I why I will be stepping down and telling Rena of it"
'Oh, this is getting juicy' Detilion said with a grin which made Muichiro hold him in the palm of his hand
'I warned you, didn't I?'
In an instant, Muichiro snapped his fingers as Detilion spatial body began to disappear
"How rude?"
"You have dispelled my connection for just ten minutes at most, I hope you are able to help her" Detilion said with a wave
As Detilion vanished, Muichiro slowly opened his eyes to see Rika leaving the room
In an instant, like impulse; Muichiro hugged Rika from behind
"Huh"
"What are you doing dummy?" Rika asked as her face flushed red in embarrassment
"I don't know what to tell you" Muichiro said as he released Rika
"The path to being a leader is tough"
"They will be obstacles that challenge your beliefs as a leader"
"I won't say you won't want to give up but you know there will people always behind your back"
"That is the pressure of being number one Rika"
Holding her by the shoulders, Muichiro said in a firm tone
"I will follow you as the leader, no matter the path you choose"
"So, believe in yourself"
Releasing her shoulders, Muichiro turned and left the room
Rika left alone in her room, slumped to her feet, clutching herself tightly
Her heart was racing, beating fast as her cheeks and ears flushed red
"He really had to do that"
After a moment of silence, Rika got up and looked at her room
"I really lived like a pig huh"
Opening her curtain, the afternoon sunlight basked in the room. It had been so long Rika had seen the sunlight making this particular one put a smile on her face
Arranging her room, Rika took a bath and for the first time in a long time, Rika stepped out of the room
"Now, let's go have that meeting"
