Rafe's POV
Once we stepped outside, Liam was waiting for us.
"Has she answered everything?" he asked.
I nodded, while Kael asked, "Where is Eira's file?"
"I left it in the security room where we were talking," he said. "I didn't go check on Eira as she would ask about her reports and…."
"You did well," Kael interrupted him and turned to the two guards who were always there on my instructions since the day I started doubting Sophia.
"Keep watch on them. If they try to run away, don't show any mercy," Kael instructed and turned to leave.
"Make it a lesson they won't forget," I added.
The guards bowed in understanding.
I pulled out the cellphone from my pocket and said, "You heard it all. I'll hang up now. We are heading back home," and cut the call after listening to the reply from the other side.
Before entering Sophia's room, I had already made a call on Lucian's mobile and let them hear what Sophia told us.
