Eira's POV
Jason and I went downstairs, hand in hand. Others were sitting quietly around the drawing room.
As we descended the stairs, all the gazes shifted to us, to our hands. They had heard it all and must have questions for Jason, about how he could keep this thing from others when they were meant to share everything with each other.
"Here is the bastard who spent a night with a minor," a voice came through. "Shall we honour him?"
Of course, who could it be other than Rafe? His sarcasm-filled mocking words would never stop.
Unbothered, unhesitant, Jason went ahead and looked at everyone, and then his gaze stopped at Rafe. "Yes, I did, as it was the first moon festival we were celebrating together. But I was well aware she is a minor and didn't cross the line with her."
"First moon festival?" Roman commented sarcastically, "Showing off, huh?"
Rafe added, "What included crossing a line? Sex?" he asked. "Knowing you, I could tell you wouldn't just leave her untouched."
