After finding out about the uniqueness of the piece of cloth containing divinity, Grey decided to leave it alone, but still kept a close watch over it.
After storing it back in his storage ring and confirming that there was truly nothing wrong with his body after the eruption of divinity, Grey gathered all the talismans that could temporarily increase his spirit energy and the rate at which he absorbed it. With these, he began to carve a giant inscription on the ground.
A while ago, Grey had obtained a jade slip that recorded how to create inscriptions and magic runes. After studying it out of curiosity, he discovered that he was surprisingly proficient in rune construction, which pushed him to study even harder.
At some point, he became able to create inscriptions from scratch and even design some very complex runes and arrays.
However, the situation had never been ideal for Grey to properly construct large-scale arrays or inscriptions.
