As Grey read through the report, he couldn't help but shake his head inwardly. The more he read, the more he felt that this matter… was far deeper than it appeared on the surface.
"No matter how prepared Sky Mist is, they would never send their disciples into challenges that could so obviously shatter their morale. Moreover, it seems as though they have been waiting for this for quite some time..." Grey thought as his gaze swept across the jade slip.
The words Violet had spoken several days ago suddenly resurfaced in his mind, causing him to unconsciously examine the situation from an entirely different angle.
"Although it looks as though Sky Mist will be utterly crushed and humiliated, this could actually be a hidden opportunity..." Grey paused for a moment before continuing his train of thought. "...An opportunity to sharpen their blades before the true storm arrives."
