A week had passed, and Cindy had finally arrived. Sean panicked a bit as he didn't know how to explain everything to his sister, and he was not ready to tell her about the three men swarming over her. "Ate, welcome back… I missed you so much…" Sean hugged his sister, "I missed you too… soon mom will be with us so that we can take care of her… and when you finished studying you can stay here and I'll comeback with mom to Philippines to settle down" Cindy said as she hugged Sean, "Are we seriously talking about this at the airport? Can't we talk about it at the apartment?" Sean commented, and Cindy just chuckled, and they finally went to the apartment. As they arrived, Cody arrived, "Ate, he has been pestering me at work…" Sean complained, Cindy just smiled, and she approached Cody and gave him a kiss, "Oh my love, I miss you so much, wait… why is your hair shorter?!" Cindy suddenly yelled at Cody, "I just thought having shorter hair would look better on me…" Cody said, and then Cindy rolled her eyes and walked inside their apartment, "Don't talk to me for three days!" Cindy yelled and shut the door. Cody kept calling Cindy over the phone, but she didn't answer. Cindy came to work like nothing happened, but Skyler approached her, "I went by your house, but it was only Sean in there… I hope you are doing fine?" Skyler said, yearning for her, "Ah… of course… I was just doing my thing… well, thank you for visiting, boss…" Cindy said coldly, Skyler was taken aback as if the Cindy he had met a few days ago was gone. He nodded and left for his office. It's already the first day of another school year for students, and Lemon picked up Sean. "How is my buddy?" Lemon asked as he opened the car door for Sean,
"Same as always, by the way, thank you for picking me up…" Sean replied. Sean sees the new ad for the new game of the SkyMaze company, and he wonders how Skyler is doing after all this time. He would ask him about his day, or rather, his sister's day. On their first day of school, they were already loaded with an activities syllabus and many more; after all, they are in their 2nd year. That night Sean was busy with his works and didn't notice his phone had tons of notification from his gaming app. The next day, he used his new phone because it had more storage and was good for his never ending online files. "So, have you been doing the activities the prof had asked?" Lemon asked,"Of course, I did them last night… so exhausting," Sean complained,"Well, this will be the last instructor, then we can go home and—"THE PROF IS HAVING A MEETING. NO CLASSES FOR TODAY!!!" One of their classmate shouted, making Lemon and Sean look, and with a smile on their faces, they immediately get up and rushed to the exit. As soon as Sean arrived, he immediately noticed his mom. He rushed and hugged his mom, and his mom immediately kissed his forehead,"Na miss kita nak" (I missed you, son), his mother said. Sean teared up."I miss you too, ma," Sean said, and they went inside the house, and his mom prepared food."Ma, let me do it," Sean offered, "No way, my baby, I'll do it… Go on and do your homework." Sean smiled and went to his room to get a change and run back down. When 5 o'clock strikes, Cindy arrived stressed and exhausted, "I thought you went at work, but you look like you came from war zone" Sean teased his sister, and Cindy rolled her eyes, "You won't believe it, Skyler was throwing papers telling us to revise everything and then said he wanted something different and just kicked his office chair, he was like that after his dinner last night with his family, now everyone of us become his servants" Cindy sighs and hugged their mom. Sean's old phone notifies, it was his playmate, SkyMaze. He thought to himself "isn't SkyMaze and Skyler the same?" he read his messages, (sent yesterday)SkyMaze: I've been down tonight. This dinner sucks, my cousin kept rubbing his wealth on my face.SkyMaze: Are you free? Let's playSkyMaze: You seem busy. This is frustratingSkyMaze: I just want to talk to someoneSkyMaze: Damn it! Can't you spare a little time?SkyMaze: Seasalt! Please…(Sent today)SkyMaze: It's been 12 hours!SkyMaze: If you saw what I did at my office, you'll probably hate me nowSkyMaze: *has been offline for 3 hours* He realized Skyler is indeed SkyMaze, he thought he was just using the company name.He replied Seasalt: I'm sorry, I had tons of activities at school, and school just started*Message seen*SkyMaze: I apologize, I didn't realize you are still a student. I was really frustrated. Are you free now? Will you play with me?Seasalt: fine, just 3 rounds…SkyMaze: Sure… They started playing, and Sean won 2 rounds while SkyMaze won 1 round. SkyMaze: good gameSeasalt: Yeah, it was nice. Why not play next time? If you ever feel frustratedSkyMaze: Hope you won't back down on what you just said.Seasalt: I won't, old manSkyMaze: *Sent a laughing emoji* I'll see you around baby… Sean blushed, "Did he just call me baby?! Baby?!" Cindy came in, "Who called you, baby?" She asked, Sean panicked, turning off the game, "The game… I pressed an ad wrong game…" Sean laughed awkwardly, "I thought you got a lover, anyway, fold your clothes." Cindy placed his clothes on his bed. Sean quickly fold his clothes, he thought to himself, Skyler just called him baby, it was strange, yet he felt happy. The next day, Cindy was picked up by Skyler because they were going to meet the new model for their ad, and the marketing team leader had already been picked up. Sean was standing outside, and Lemon was not picking him up because his car was still getting fixed. "Sean! Why don't I send you to your school? Our meeting place is near your school," Skyler offered, "Is it okay?" Sean asked, as he blushed. Cindy nodded, and Skyler smiled, "Yeah, sit by me." Skyler opened the door at the passenger seat, Sean went in and Skyler helped him strapped the seatbelt. "You okay?" Skyler asked him, "Yeah… It's just it was a bit hot outside," Sean explained, though he couldn't help but feel happy after all, the guy he was playing with was this guy beside him. Skyler turned on the AC and the radio while Cindy and the marketing team leader were talking. Skyler kept looking at Sean, "How was school? What did you take again?" Skyler breaks the ice, "School just started… and so many workloads, and I took architecture." Sean replied, "You know, someone I know also told me they were busy, though it is the first day of school, I guess, they were not kidding…" Skyler chuckled, his voice deep. To Sean, it sent shivers down his spine. "Yeah, pretty sure they weren't kidding…". "What? Did you say something?" Skyler asked. "I said, please stop at the parking…" Sean said. Skyler stopped, and he unbuckled Sean's seatbelt. "Bye, Sean… see you next time," Skyler bid farewell. Cindy and the team leader also waved goodbye. The entire day was like a dream to Sean, he know in his heart he likes somebody new.
