Gloria had taken a couple of days off to rest.

On the third day, feeling mostly recovered and restless, Gloria tidied up her room and went downstairs.
Mira was busy directing workers to move vases.
Seeing Gloria, Mira took a moment to check on her. "Are you feeling better?"

Mira glanced around. "You can help in the kitchen."
Gloria agreed and headed to the kitchen.
There was already a maid helping out in the kitchen.
As Gloria entered, she saw the back of the busy cook and her expression changed.
That figure looked familiar.
Unconsciously, Gloria clenched her fists, hoping she was mistaken.
"Hi, Mira sent me to help," Gloria greeted.
The next second, the cook's back stiffened, and Gloria's heart tightened.
After a long moment, the person turned around, eyes red.
Gloria forced herself to stay calm and shook her head.
