Fluffy darted ahead, sniffing at the edges of glowing cracks, then paused abruptly, tail bristling. Shadows flitted along the walls — quick, almost teasing, never striking… yet.
"See those?" Lira said, pointing to the edges of the hall. "They're watching. Learning. Testing."
Renkai's jaw tightened. "Then let's not give them an opening. Stay close."
Serelyth swooped lower, wings brushing the ceiling. "This is a test, yes, but also… it's an invitation. Whatever this orb wants to show, it's only for those who are aware, cautious, and… united."
