Chapter 264 - Ch264: The God Hokage’s Ceremony

[AUTHOR NOTE]

[Hey everyone, so… this is the last chapter.

I know a lot of people have been reading this, over 4.5k collections and 1.7M views, which is honestly insane. I never expected anything close to that when I first started writing.

I also know the story hasn't been perfect, and some of you might be disappointed while others might not care as much.

But ever since the war arc, I just haven't had the motivation to keep going. A friend suggested I continue into the Boruto era and I actually had some ideas prepared… but the truth is, I don't enjoy the Boruto storyline at all.

So yeah… sorry, but this is where the fanfic ends.

Thank you all for reading and supporting it, it truly means a lot. 🙏 ]

It had been a month since Kakashi began implementing the vision of the United Shinobi Federation. The world had begun to settle under one banner. Today, the heart of that unity, Konohagakure was shining brighter than ever.

It was the day Hatake Kakashi, now known by many as a god, was to be officially inaugurated as the Sixth Hokage.

Inside the Hokage's office, Tsunade leaned back in her chair, tossing the Hokage hat into Kakashi's lap with a smug grin. "Finally. I can drink in peace."

"You've been waiting for this moment since the day you took the position." Kakashi chuckled.

Mei, sitting nearby with legs crossed, laughed softly. "Now I'm thinking of handing over the Mizukage title too. Kakashi makes retirement look tempting."

Kakashi smirked but didn't comment. He simply adjusted the red and white robe, draped over his shoulder, bearing the symbol of fire.

The Hokage robe. Though he had long been the Supreme Overseer of the world, this title had a different weight, it was personal.

Tsunade rose, already preparing the final ceremony details. "Let's give the people something unforgettable."

….

One Week Later – Hokage Ceremony Day

The village buzzed with activity.

Stalls lined the streets, flags with Kakashi's face fluttered in the breeze, and visitors from every major village flooded Konoha. The Hokage Monument had been freshly polished. Even the sky was a brilliant, cloudless blue.

Inside the village gates, Naruto, now sixteen, taller, and more mature, stood in reception robes, grinning as Gaara approached.

"Yo, Gaara!" Naruto said, raising a hand.

"Naruto. It's good to see you again." Gaara gave a rare, small smile and nodded.

Temari and Kankuro followed behind. Temari's eyes casually drifted toward the Hokage monument, then shifted to the tall figure in red and white she could see walking the upper tower. Her cheeks flushed slightly, which didn't escape Kankuro.

"Seriously?" Kankuro whispered. "You too?"

Temari elbowed him in the ribs, not denying it.

Elsewhere, Sakura welcomed the diminutive Onoki with a respectful bow. Onoki looked around at the village with cautious eyes, but it was clear even he was impressed.

Sasuke stood tall near the Raikage's arrival point. As A stepped forward with Darui and Samui, Sasuke's gaze flicked to the blonde kunoichi beside him.

Samui looked around calmly, but her eyes paused when they found Kakashi's silhouette in the distance. A light pink flush spread across her pale cheeks.

A smirked. "She's had a crush on your sensei since the war."

"He has that effect on people." Sasuke nodded.

"Good. Might be useful for building ties." A grunt.

Sasuke raised a brow but said nothing.

….

In the heart of the village, crowds were already gathering. Fans of Kakashi lined the streets, waving handmade signs and banners. Many wore symbolic cloaks with stitched Sharingan eyes, even if Kakashi rarely used them anymore. The man had become more than a hero. He had become a legend.

"He saved the world, you know!" a young woman shouted, tears in her eyes.

"He's the most handsome Hokage ever!" another girl squealed. "And he's a god now!"

"I heard he can fly!" a child said, bouncing excitedly.

In the front rows, teams 8 and 10 stood together. Ino, now a blooming beauty, held a small Kakashi banner and looked up with flushed cheeks. "He's… perfect."

"Didn't you use to like Sasuke?" Choji munched calmly beside her.

"That was a phase," she replied dreamily.

"Kakashi-sensei… you really are too sinful." Next to her, Sakura sighed deeply.

"He's… very admirable." Hinata smiled shyly.

Shino adjusted his glasses. "He's efficient. It's logical that people admire him."

Behind them, Shizune stood quietly, her arm lightly brushing Sasuke's as they observed the growing excitement. Beside them, Naruto clenched his fists in silent resolve.

"That'll be me someday," he said, eyes burning with ambition.

….

Above them all, on the balcony of the Hokage Tower, Kakashi finally appeared.

The air shifted. Silence fell.

He wore the Hokage robe draped over divine black-and-white armor etched with seals and flowing chakra inscriptions. His once lazy features were now refined to near-perfection. His handsome face, visible and radiant, seemed carved by the gods. His eyes are calm, wise, magnetic.

"KAKASHI-SAMAAAA!" A collective squeal rang out from the crowd of female admirers.

Even from afar, the five women who stood behind him, Tsunade, Mei, Kurenai, Anko, and Konan, watched him with warm, doting eyes. Their hearts swelled with pride.

In the audience, Temari flushed deeply and unconsciously clasped her hands together. Kankuro's brows furrowed. "Oh no…"

Beside her, Samui's lips parted slightly as she stared at Kakashi's powerful figure. Darui noticed and chuckled silently. Raikage A folded his arms and grinned. "Good. She should aim for the top."

Near them stood Onoki, his granddaughter Kurotsuchi, and his son. The old man's brow furrowed deeply, but even he could not deny it, Kakashi had united the world and now stood as the most powerful symbol of peace and progress.

….

In the distant shadows, figures watched the ceremony quietly.

Madara stood with his arms crossed. Hashirama, beside him, kept sneaking glances his way.

"Still thinking about never being Hokage?"

Madara snorted. "Hmph. No more regrets. He's earned it."

Tobirama stared at Kakashi from afar. "It's astonishing. I had doubts. But now…"

Minato stood beside his wife, Kushina, both of them smiling.

"He reminds me of you," Kushina whispered. "But even calmer."

Minato's eyes softened. "He was always meant for this."

The Orochimaru clone stood apart, his glowing golden snake eyes watching Kakashi with deep reverence. He felt no jealousy, only pride. Kakashi had created him, not as a tool, but as a being with purpose. He had given him life… and now he had become a god.

To the side stood Mikoto and Fugaku Uchiha, quietly proud. Yuhi Shinku, Kurenai's father, looked on with quiet approval. Itachi observed the crowd with a calm, calculating gaze.

Back in the Genesis Seal Space, Kaguya sat within the crystalline palace Kakashi had built for her.

She watched it all.

Kakashi's speech. The cheers. His dignity. His divinity.

Her pale hands gripped the edge of her throne as her chest tightened. Emotions she had never known stirred within her. His words, his poise, his power… it affected her deeply.

"He… belongs to the world," she whispered.

Yet the strange longing in her heart told her she wanted a piece of him for herself.

Her pale cheeks flushed slightly as she watched Konan lean on his arm later in private. Then came the others. Their bodies tangled. Their lips shared. Her heart throbbed strangely, as a single thought passed her mind:

"I want to be touched by him too."

Later that evening, the fireworks danced in the sky.

Kakashi stood on the tower, the village below lit in celebration. His women stood with him, arms linked, soft smiles glowing.

The Hokage of Peace. The God of the New Era.

Hatake Kakashi had become more than a legend.

He had become the world's center.

And in the Genesis seal space, inside a sacred space, the one who once threatened to destroy it all…

…was now dreaming of a future where she stood at his side.
