"That was just a moment ago," Irena said excitedly. "The situation is different now!"
"Quaedes, this is my final Number—and also the culmination of every Number throughout this long duel!" Miles roared, raising his arm.

When it was first overlaid and Summoned, [Number F0: Utopic Future Slash] gained 4000 Attack based on the Number cards in the Graveyards.
But after being revived a second time, the result was entirely different.
With [CXyz Barian Hope], which had six Xyz Monsters overlaid as materials, banished, those six overlaid Xyz Monsters naturally returned to both players' Graveyards.
Among them were all of Miles's absorbed Number 39: Utopia monsters.

Though inferior in Attack, at the final moment of the decisive battle, Emperor Quaedes still gathered the brilliance of the super galaxy and unleashed a storming counterblast.
The reason was simple: although Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon's Attack was lower than Future Slash's, even 6000 Attack was not enough to deplete all of Quaedes's remaining Life Points.
As long as she endured, the next draw would bring a chance to turn the duel around.
Unfamiliar with defeat, Emperor Quaedes had known only victory in her life—and she firmly believed this time would be no exception.
"With this blade, I can sever even your future of absolute victory! Quaedes, solitary Emperor—your path of triumph ends here!"
The clash between the future greatsword and the tachyon spiral gradually tilted toward suppression under Utopia's 6000 Attack.
But even that alone was not enough. Even gathering all the power of the Numbers to cleave the galaxy still could not defeat Quaedes.
"Let the countless possibilities of the future converge here as well!"
Miles hurled the card in his hand toward the very center of the battlefield's collision.
"Quick-Play Spell that strides toward the boundless future—[Future Drive], activate!"
A Quick-Play Spell exclusive to Utopic Future monsters. It was with this very card that Miles once amplified his power and defeated all three Polar Gods in a single sweep.
And now, the drive that races toward an endless future would unleash an entirely different effect.

Layer upon layer, the future blade severed the super galaxy. The golden dragon split apart, its radiant fracture reflected in Quaedes's trembling ice-blue eyes.
