Unfortunately, there won't be a chapter today.
I've spent most of the day dealing with my dog, who is currently at the vet fighting a severe infection that has turned septic. Right now we're hoping this round of antibiotics works. If it doesn't, I'm facing the possibility of having to make a decision no pet owner ever wants to make.
Needless to say, writing has been pretty difficult to focus on today.
I apologize for the missed chapter and appreciate your patience while I deal with things on the home front.
