Meera was stunned to realize her inappropriate situation and immediately pulled away from him, as if she was being electrocuted.
She was embarrassed for her boldness. How could she hug another man in her own bedroom?
Meera's already red face turned even redder when she realized this fact and she was trying to play it down, by acting as if there was nothing wrong, but then she realized that she was naked under the blanket.
"Here, drink this, you need to drink after crying so much." Adam returned with a glass of water and then sat on the edge of the bed, next to her.
And now, when Meera was already sober enough to calculate her situation, she didn't think this was appropriate for him to sit on her bed. She nervously glanced at the door and Adam seemed to pick up her nervousness.
"It's okay, the alpha is in the training ground and I was assigned to stay here." Adam reassured her that everything would be all right.
