They could postpone it and let her stayed here, while Dalton settled the main problem with Zane. However, the words stuck to her throat and in the end, she had never said anything about it. Meera played along with Dalton's decision.
"No, I am fine, maybe just a little bit tired," Meera brushed it off casually and laid down on the bed again. She still felt sleepy, even though she woke up so late. She tried to keep her eyes opened, but it was so hard.
"Do you feel hurt somewhere because of last night?" Dalton laid next to her. He had ordered his lunch and Meera's lunch to be delivered to their bedroom, because he had not yet eaten. He had been waiting for his mate to come for lunch, but even when the lunch time passed, she didn't come.
It didn't help at all because he was worried about her, especially when he saw how long she was sleeping.
