Chapter 188 - Chapter 188: Ryūjin Jakka

"Let's see exactly what kind of video I've obtained." Inside his command tent, Tianyuan opened the player.

Looking at the display, his gaze faltered for a moment. He was truly the first person to receive a video of this nature.

There were two files currently in the player. One was a half-segment of a Naruto Ultra-Clear video, which had been his task reward for slaying the Madara Uchiha clone. Since he only had half, it was currently unplayable, meaning he couldn't extract a reward from it yet.

The other was a signal received from a fixed point, and it too was in ultra high definition.

"A Bleach Ultra-Clear video," Tianyuan murmured, his voice soft.

He was quite familiar with the world of Bleach. It was a realm inhabited by spiritual bodies, Hollows, and even Quinciesa world centered primarily around the Soul Society, the land of the dead. The strength of the various Captains there was truly formidable.

"However, if I draw a soul-related ability, will I even be able to use it?" Tianyuan pondered for a moment before shaking his head. "Well, let's just draw and see."

Whether he could use it or not didn't matter right now; he could always consult the System later.

Ding! Obtained Zanpakutō: Ryūjin Jakka.

The System's voice chimed in his mind.

"Ryūjin Jakka." Tianyuan was stunned. He was intimately aware of how famous this Zanpakutō was.

In the world of Bleach, it was one of the oldest and most powerful fire-type Zanpakutōs. It possessed staggering power; in its Shikai state, it reached the temperature of the sun's surface, and in its Bankai state, it reached the temperature of the sun's core.

It was an utterly terrifying blade.

Looking at the seemingly ordinary sword floating before him, no one would ever guess that this was one of the mightiest Zanpakutōs in the world of Bleach.

Tianyuan hadn't fully manifested it yet; it remained in an ethereal state. If such an exaggerated weapon appeared physically, it might cause an unnecessary commotion, even with the barrier he had set up around the tent.

However, his worries faded as he looked closer. The blade itself didn't look overly extravagant in its dormant form.

"Accept the Zanpakutō," Tianyuan commanded.

Transfer successful. Zanpakutō manifested.

An ordinary-looking long blade appeared in front of him. Tianyuan reached out his right hand and gripped the hilt.

Instantly, the methods for using Ryūjin Jakka flashed through his mind one after another. It felt as if he had fought with this Zanpakutō for an eternity; every technique and nuance was as clear to him as if they were his own memories.

His previous concerns were entirely unnecessary. The System had already resolved the issue regarding a living body using a spiritual tool.

He could indeed use this Zanpakutō, though it would drain his mental energy rather than spiritual pressure. Fortunately, with his Rinnegan, Tianyuan possessed more than enough mental energy to unleash the blade's full potential.

"Tomorrow, I will reveal you to this Shinobi World and let everyone witness your power," Tianyuan said, his left hand gently brushing over the length of Ryūjin Jakka.

The blade seemed to possess a soul of its own, vibrating slightly under his touch.

Although this wasn't exactly what Tianyuan had been looking for from the video, he was thrilled to have obtained such a sentient and powerful weapon. Furthermore, this version had been optimized by the System. It could be argued that this blade was even more lethal than the one wielded by Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.

"Tomorrow, I will use you to destroy the Hidden Mist Village." A smile played across Tianyuan's lips as he looked at the blade in his hand.

The ninjas of the Hidden Mist had no idea that a terrifying predator had already set his sights on them.

Land of Fire, Hidden Leaf Village, Hokage's Office.

Sitting behind his desk, Hiruzen Sarutobi finally allowed himself a small sigh of relief.

Konoha was currently locked in a struggle against the other Four Great Shinobi Villages. It was an incredibly difficult situation, but Hiruzen took immense pride in his ninjas; despite the overwhelming odds, Konoha was holding its ground.

The offensive from the Hidden Mist Village had already been halted. Hiruzen's mind was now occupied with a single question: how could he force these villages to retreat?

If the stalemate continued, Konoha's resources would be stretched to the breaking point. They couldn't sustain this level of consumption for long. After all, Konoha was just one village standing against four others; in terms of sheer numbers, they were at a disadvantage.

Hiruzen didn't want to see his village's strength completely depleted. If that happened, Konoha would have no future. The Land of Fire might even be carved up by the other four great nations. To truly win, they had to repel the invaders.

"But how can we secure a total victory?" Hiruzen mused. "Perhaps I should have Tianyuan lead a unit for a surprise raid?"

With Tianyuan's immense power, he could serve as the ultimate spearhead.

"But without knowing the location of the enemy headquarters, such a raid would have limited impact," Hiruzen said, shaking his head.

This Great Ninja War had dragged on for nearly a year. If this continued, Konoha wouldn't be able to hold out.

"Lord Hokage, there is a letter for you," a ninja's voice called from outside.

"Enter," Hiruzen replied.

"Yes, Lord Hokage." The door slid open, and an ANBU operative wearing a cat-faced mask walked in. He handed the report to Hiruzen before silently departing.

Judging by the operative's fluid, practiced motions, this was a routine he performed often.

"Hmm, it's a report from the Hidden Mist front," Hiruzen noted, nodding as he saw the seal on the envelope.

The ninjas stationed there represented the hope of Konoha's new generation. Both Tianyuan, who had performed exceptionally in this war, and Minato Namikaze were there.

As he opened the letter and read the contents, Hiruzen's expression shifted. His eyes widened in pure disbelief.

"Madara Uchiha... is still alive?" Hiruzen was stunned. According to the report, Tianyuan had engaged in a battle where both he and Madara utilized their Susanoos.

If the report hadn't been backed by the sensory ninjutsu of Minato and the others, Hiruzen might have suspected it was a mistake. But the evidence was clear. It was true.

Madara was alive.

"To think he's still living... what could he possibly be planning?" Hiruzen's eyes turned dark and contemplative.

For the time being, he decided not to share this information with the other high-ranking members of Konoha. The top priority remained the ongoing Ninja World War.

While Hiruzen was reeling from the news about Madara, tension was also brewing at another distant front.

Deep within the Hidden Cloud Village encampment, the atmosphere had grown increasingly strained.
