💻 SECTOR 5 — "THE HOLE"
You don't find The Hole.
It finds you.
It was an old water plant before the flood hit Sector 5 a decade ago. Now it was an illegal cyber-den layered with rusted steel, blackout curtains, and heat panels to trick thermal scans.
Inside? Flickering code screens, the hum of old tech, vape smoke, and broken dreams.
Shohan stood by the main tunnel entrance with Rafi behind him, hood pulled low. They passed rows of silent watchers — gamers, hackers, dealers, AI freaks. No one made eye contact.
Because this place was ruled by Ansha — and she didn't like surprise guests.
Shohan didn't knock. He typed five keys into a console hidden in the wall. The door slid open with a sharp hiss, like a snake.
> "Shohan," a voice called from inside. "Still using that ugly knock? You know you're not welcome."
He stepped in.
> "Still working with state-burners, Ansha? That chip behind your left screen is public-issue. Could get you vaporized."
A pause.
Then a laugh. Dry. Familiar.
Ansha stepped out of the darkness.
Cyber-glasses perched on her head. Short-cropped hair dyed glacier blue. Dark brown skin, scars under her left eye — and a tattoo on her wrist that moved like it was breathing.
> "Still a smartass."
> "Still the smartest."

🔥 Ansha
They had history.
Once, Shohan trusted her. Almost.
They used to run small schemes together.
He'd bring the play, she'd ghost the system.
Then she sold one of his fake IDs to a Frame informant. Shohan barely escaped.
She said it was a mistake. He never asked again.
> "You brought a kid," she said, eyeing Rafi. "Bold."
> "He's important."
> "Everything is important when you're losing."
Shohan stepped forward. "I need intel. Quiet. Deep Frame-level. I need anything you've heard about the Mindless Project."
Ansha's eyes twitched.
> "You're walking into black-zone territory," she whispered. "I can get you killed just for saying that name."
> "You think I came here to ask for your permission?"
The room went still. Their old tension returned — not rage, but chess-level danger.
Then she smiled.
> "God, I missed you."

🧠THE TRADE
She loaded a drive, fingers typing too fast to follow. Data flashed across a black screen: lists of ghosted IDs, untraceable drones, security logs.
Shohan watched silently.
She slid a cracked tablet toward him. "That's what I pulled. It's not everything. But it's enough to scare a Frame boss."
He scrolled. Surveillance data. Movement logs. Blood type records.
And one name blinked at the bottom of a file:
> PROJECT ID: CHILD WITNESS - CODE NAME: RAFI
He looked at Ansha.
> "They logged him already."
> "They log everything," she said. "You just finally care."
> "He's ten."
> "He's a threat."
Shohan gritted his teeth.
> "I'm gonna break the protocol."
> "They'll erase you."
> "Only if they catch me."

🕯 Backdoor Betrayal
Shohan turned to Rafi. "We move in two minutes. Stay quiet."
But the moment he turned his back—
Click.
A soft metal sound.
Shohan froze. Turned slowly.
Rafi stood there.
Holding a small silver disc in his hand — blinking red.
A tracker.
> "I'm sorry," Rafi said. "They said they'd let me live—"
> "No, no," Shohan said softly, stepping forward. "Don't apologize."
> "But—"
> "Don't. You're just a kid. And they used you."
Shohan took the disc gently from the boy's hand, knelt, and pressed it against his own palm. He closed his eyes.
He counted silently.
Three…
Two…
One.
The door behind them exploded.
