Chapter 410 - Weapons Ready

Since he was mixing other materials to create the weapon, the rock did not recognize the royal blood. So a different idea formed in his mind. Instead of inserting the already solidified fragment, he decided to reverse the process. He would first create an empty spiritual core inside the gauntlets—a space prepared to receive the Lúmen'Thyr when it turned completely white. A cavity not physical, but energetic.

'It can restore itself and fuse with the gauntlets while Elaris pours her own mana into them.'

Malunes smiled slightly as she watched Enrico continue creating the weapon as if he had fully understood how to do it this time.

'That's the spirit an alchemist should have.'

Enrico used his deep water affinity to create an internal circular flow within the metal structure. It wasn't visible to the naked eye, but the mana organized itself in a spiral, forming a stable reception area. That was because the metal had the ability to copy certain forms placed within it, so when that water left, the metal itself would replicate that capability.

'Good thing Malunes brought copy-metal.'

[She brought various materials. If she hadn't brought that metal, I'd be surprised.]

The system was right. Right behind him were various types of materials and items ready to be used. She had brought them mainly because they were dealing with something rare.

'Anyway, I'm not done yet, so let's continue.'

He added small internal inscriptions—not full runes, but guiding lines. Anchoring points for the royal blood that would come later.

'She'll only need to use this once.'

[Will it hurt?]

'Yes, but I'll warn her. It won't be too painful.'

Those runes would absorb her blood faster than the Lúmen'Thyr could adapt. That meant the gauntlets would become a royal treasure, just like the one Elaris's father once had. Royal treasures were created from those with royal blood, but they were extremely rare—mainly because there were no blacksmiths or alchemists at the level of genius he was operating at.

[Don't be too arrogant. You're just someone with above-average intelligence.]

'Thanks for the compliment.'

"Done. Now we just wait."

Enrico turned toward everyone, slightly tired. He wouldn't lie—he preferred fighting and learning things in practice rather than thinking so much—but honestly, he felt a small happiness at being able to create such good plans and items.

'Maybe I really am—'

[You're just intelligent. Don't start calling yourself a prodigy.]

'That can still be considered a prodigy in some way.'

Malunes approached quickly when he stepped forward. Without a doubt, the conversation they would have now would be long. And it was long—hours passed, enough time for him to create another white container to complete Elaris's weapon, and for the previous containers to turn white.

"They're ready, benefactor."

"Alright. Kai, Valença, Elaris, come take a look."

Malunes approached first, with heightened attention and curiosity. Enrico carefully opened the first container. The contents were no longer raw fragments—it was a refined mass of Lúmen'Thyr synchronized with Elaris's blood. The mass reacted immediately to her presence as she stepped closer, emitting a soft, steady glow. After Enrico had explained she would need more blood, the elven princess had made a deep cut, pouring it in without hesitation.

"This is incredible, benefactor. It's really working."

"Even so, it can still go wrong, so let's stay calm."

With controlled movements, Enrico guided the material into the prepared core. This time, there was no rejection. The Lúmen'Thyr spread internally in perfect synchrony. Malunes stepped forward and adjusted the final flow, sealing the structure. The right gauntlet went through the same process, with even more precision now that they knew how to proceed.

"Congratulations, princess. From what I see, my benefactor has made a royal treasure for you."

When both were finished, they didn't look exaggerated or grand. They were elegant, light, almost simple at first glance. But the mana around them was different. It felt alive, waiting to synchronize with its owner.

"Royal Treasure…"

Elaris stepped forward slowly, gratitude shining in her eyes. Without a doubt, she would repay him later when everything was over. The moment she touched the gauntlets, the internal glow intensified, running through the invisible lines inside the structure. There was no resistance as she slipped her blood-stained, bandaged hands into them.

'Father… I now have the same as you.'

A grateful smile appeared on her face as the image of her father surfaced in her mind. He also used gauntlets, though heavier—something completely different from typical elves.

'I was afraid to try copying them, but I'll make my own, inspired by him.'

"Thank you, Enrico."

"No need—actually, thank me as much as possible, because today I don't plan on being humble."

"I don't understand why my benefactor would need to be humble. To me, your titles mean you deserve to be arrogant."

Malunes showered Enrico with praise, and he accepted it gladly while the system seemed ready to turn over in some grave. Now it was time to finish preparing the other three weapons. It was easier than creating one from scratch—especially now that he knew how to use Lúmen'Thyr properly.

"Very well. Now that everyone is ready, let's go in. Everyone prepared?"

"Yes, second leader."

"That's right, subordinate Enrico."

"YES… I'm more than ready, Miss Elaris, and I hope there are strong opponents to fight just like you promised!"

Kai shouted with his fist raised, the sword in his other hand. Kai's Sword gained an internal channel, invisible to the naked eye, capable of conducting not only elemental mana but conceptual flow.

"Incandis and I are ready too, especially now that my future husband improved my staff."

"I helped with the improvement too."

Malunes did not like being ignored by Valença, who simply began whistling with exaggerated innocence. Her staff had small shards of Lúmen'Thyr along its body—not as external reinforcement, but as internal nodes. Each insertion was followed by a waiting period, allowing the material to be accepted.

"Very well. Then let's go in and defeat the four creatures guarding the blessing."

"Let's go."

Enrico gripped his bow tightly, an excited smile appearing on his face. What he gained wasn't an improvement to the bow itself. What he received were arrows that could be summoned from the core at the center of the bow. Each arrow now carried not only power, but absolute trajectory control—allowing adjustments mid-flight, impossible curves, and more precise impacts. And finally, mana consumption had been drastically reduced.

'This feeling of evolving is so… good.'
