Zohn still lay on the ground. His heart beat had slower to nearly to zero. He could not feel his surroundings. He lay helpless. For one who had lost his left arm, he was brutally injured and his body was a witness of terror.
His mind drifted back to what he had seen while he carried Marie. He had seen a living terror. While he carried Marie he had met face to face with someone who he had thought was dead.
He had met Maczed on that he was glowing in orange energy. His eyes were dark and hollow and his usual blue uniform was replaced with a darker form of it.
Right now, he could only think and imagine it. Maczed had killed Marie. Aaron had betrayed him. He could still remember through Marie's memory when they had kissed passionately. The thought of this made him feel sick and in an outburst he woke up suddenly.
