A bet sure to win, Su Wangyou dared to place his wager, and the Scholar naturally wasn't willing to back down.
He said, "If I lose, then I'll accept Sect Leader Su's earlier invitation to help improve the Golden Scale Sect's cultivation technique and design a set of compatible martial arts, all without any compensation!"
Upon hearing this, Su Wangyou was overjoyed and immediately said, "Agreed!"
Although he was naturally carefree and liked to travel, he was ultimately the Sect Leader of the Golden Scale Sect, and needed to consider the sect.
The Golden Scale Sect's cultivation technique overly emphasized comprehension. If they didn't recruit good talents, they would easily face a decline, leading to the sect's downfall. Thus, he had previously invited the Scholar to the Golden Scale Sect to improve the cultivation technique.
