Zeus laughed, a great hearty laugh, at the gate of the Netherworld. Not facing the gods, but looking at his "youngest child," he laughed wildly, a hearty laugh.
The laughter echoed through the Netherworld, as if the whole of Greece could hear it.
He was laughing wildly, He had lost, defeated by His own arrogance, defeated by His ignorance and foolishness.
But He still had a card to play!
Zeus pointed at Xue Dili, the aura of the King of Gods returned once again, and He said to Xue Dili, filled with the King of Gods' grandeur: "My child, we need not meet on the battlefield."
"Xediles, you are also my son, we are not enemies. In this new world, you will become the Holy Son, the only god in the mortal world! I will reign in Heaven, and you will reign in the mortal world, and together we will share the new world!"
Zeus extended His hand towards Xue Dili, and the Great Light Wheel slowly turned behind Him.
