Austin never expected that merely contacting the mystic scholars he was familiar with would result in encountering a fallen elder who brought along several infants and summoned a terrifying monster.
The Wendigo, a twisted creature resembling a humanoid elk, widely spoken of by both Native Americans and later colonizers, wears the skull of an elk on its head, sports antlers over a meter long, stands tall and robust, with solid muscles, and each step it takes carries a heavy oppressive feeling, as if the earth trembles beneath it.
But what sent chills down Austin's spine even more was that this Wendigo wasn't a real monster, but an evil spirit "resurrected" through Qijela's desolate fungus trait.
This made its body overgrown with twisted branches and vines, adorning its antlers and figure, like a vengeful spirit long buried in this land.
