"A dream..."
Liu Heng softly repeated the word, saying nothing more.
His past scheming against Zhao Zuo and the Master-Servant Contract were like two thorns that could not be removed. Even though Zhao Zuo told him he no longer cared about what happened, Liu Heng didn't dare to truly believe him. Meanwhile, Zhao Zuo had many secrets of his own to hide and naturally wouldn't take the initiative to dissolve the Master-Servant Contract.
For Liu Heng, freedom had become an unattainable luxury.
"I wasn't lying when I said I would help you reach Foundation Establishment," Zhao Zuo said.
"I believe you, Younger Brother Zhao." A flicker of hope shone in Liu Heng's eyes before vanishing. He no longer had the right to choose; he could only see this path through to the bitter end.
Zhao Zuo said no more. Some things could only be proven with time.
"Don't leave the Moyun Sect for a while," Zhao Zuo said.
"As you command."
Without further explanation, Zhao Zuo turned and left.
