Bronze City Divine Tomb.
Alpha and Beta's infiltration run hit an accident. The Teleportation Mirror that had been pre-placed in the Divine Tomb's furniture hill suddenly shattered mid-teleport, causing the teleport to fail. At the same time it inflicted damage on Alpha similar to a Shattering Strike.
Alpha had a vague bad premonition. But he couldn't rule out that it was just an accident—after all, the furniture mirror they'd set up beforehand had already existed in-game for a hundred years, it was already dilapidated, and Alpha's level and strength had improved a lot lately; a broken-down mirror might simply not be able to withstand the teleport and shatter.
Since they couldn't teleport, then they'd just walk and sneak underground. Of course, as Shadow Demons, that was called shadow-walking. Shadow Demons don't have physical bodies; as long as there's a gap they can slip in. This is also the huge advantage Shadow Demons have in Treasure Hunting.
