Just as she was about to call for a vote, the door to the basement was knocked upon.
"Wise One, urgent news from the north." A young, respectful voice sounded.
"Come in."
With the Wise One's words, the stone door automatically opened.
A handsome young man, holding a parchment scroll, quickly approached the Wise One, respectfully placed it down, and then turned to leave.
The Wise One opened the scroll, bent down and read carefully, plunging the basement into silence.
Moments later, the Wise One raised his head and said slowly,
"The Northern Wasteland, Lord of Black Pine Ridge, Baron Rod has conquered the Eagle Ridge of the Hawk Clan in the past month."
"The latest news is that the bordering city of the Cold Blade Clan has also fallen into his hands."
"As of the moment we received this news, the Cold Blade Clan should only have Frost Castle left unconquered."
The Wise One's words echoed in the basement, instantly causing a commotion.
