"Here they come!"
Liu Ziran quickly responded, then said to Jiang Chuan, "Old classmate, if you have time, let's have a good chat after I get off work."
Back in school, Liu Ziran and Jiang Chuan had a pretty good relationship. Meeting an old classmate wasn't easy, of course, they wanted to catch up.
Jiang Chuan smiled and nodded, and Liu Ziran turned to leave.
But just as she was leaving, something suddenly fell from Liu Ziran's body.
"Ziran, you dropped something." Jiang Chuan hurriedly reminded her, bending down to pick it up.
It was a delicate little box, seemingly a jewelry box.
Because the box had already broken open, Jiang Chuan could see what was inside.
It was a tiny Golden Buddha, crudely made and very small, looking like it wasn't worth much.
Liu Ziran hurried over and said awkwardly, "Jiang Chuan, this is something I originally intended to give to my mother."
"She is ill, and I wanted to buy her a Golden Buddha to bless her with a speedy recovery."
