Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Freaking Awesome

After a brief consideration, Qin Feng agreed, "Miss Lin, Buddha says that if I don't enter Hell, who will enter Hell. Anyway, my master is in seclusion, and I'm bored alone, so why not go back to the secular world with you for training."

Lin Nan's little plan succeeded, and she finally breathed a sigh of relief. She patted Qin Feng on the shoulder and promised, "Idiot, rest assured, your sister is quite reputable in the secular world. Stick with me, and I'll take good care of you!"

Qin Feng smiled faintly, seeing Lin Nan happy made him inexplicably happy too.

The next day, he took out a piece of Jade to leave a message for his master and went down the mountain with Lin Nan.

This area was densely forested and a hundred miles around was uninhabited, with no roads to speak of.

Fortunately, Qin Feng knew some spells. Although he couldn't use Sword Flight, he was as light as a swallow and could easily leap tens of meters high.

He carried Lin Nan, navigating the steep and rugged mountain paths with ease, soaring up and down, which frightened Lin Nan to the point where she closed her eyes and clung tightly to Qin Feng.

An hour later, "beep beep" two car honks yanked Lin Nan back to the real world.

"Highway, cars, Holy Mother Mary, I'm finally back in the human world!"

Lin Nan was so excited she wanted to shout but quickly shut her mouth.

After Qin Feng's last leap, they fell directly from a twenty-meter-high hillside.

The feeling was akin to riding a roller coaster; luckily, she underwent such training at the police academy; otherwise, Qin Feng would have scared her to death.

After landing, Lin Nan's small body trembled for quite a while before recovering, hurriedly waving at passing cars.

The road sign here pointed right towards West Capital City, two hundred kilometers away from the city.

No matter how fast Qin Feng ran, it would take forever to get back to the city.

The passing drivers couldn't spare them a glance; Lin Nan resorted to her secret weapon, hiking up her dress to reveal her leg.

Qin Feng, seeing this, almost had a nosebleed.

Though he didn't know what Lin Nan was doing, she seemed quite impressive.

Sure enough, within a minute, a loaded truck honked from afar.

The driver rolled down the window as he passed and grinned, "Hey beauty, how much for a bang?"

Lin Nan saw he was about to hit the guardrail and shouted, "Bang your head, careful of the cliff!"

By the time the driver realized, it was too late. The winding mountain road had a mountain on one side and a cliff on the other.

"Bang, bang" a series of loud noises as the wheels smashed the guardrail to bits, seemingly ready to roll down the mountain.

"It's over, it's over!"

Lin Nan was so scared she closed her eyes.

At this moment, Qin Feng, who had been silent, suddenly leaped up and landed a foot on the truck's rear.

The truck screeched, its cab that had already slipped down the slope lifted like a seesaw.

Qin Feng twisted his body, and the fifteen-meter-long body of the truck turned, crashing onto the road.

The mountain wind howled as Qin Feng stood on the vehicle with hands behind him, hair drifting in the wind, calmly gazing down the mountain.

"So cool, Holy Mother Mary!"

Lin Nan's eyes were about to pop out in surprise.

The truck weighed over twenty tons, yet Qin Feng manipulated it effortlessly as if it were a toy. This scene was like an action-packed American movie, simply mind-blowing.

The driver took a while to climb off the truck, immediately collapsing to the ground.

A pungent urine smell seeped from his trousers, and his face was bloodless.

After Qin Feng jumped down from the truck, the driver quickly knelt, "My lord, I have an elderly mother at home and a child barely a month old. Whatever you want, just ask, but please spare me!"

Lin Nan giggled when she saw Qin Feng.

He was only wearing a tiger patterned shorts, his hair a tangled mess like a bird's nest; he indeed resembled a demon king from TV.

Lin Nan helped the driver up and explained, "Alright, get up, he's no king, just knows a bit of kung fu. We need to get to West Capital City; can you give us a ride?"

The driver nodded repeatedly, "Yes, of course. There's a highway exit up ahead where I can deal with the traffic accident. You can get off there!"

Lin Nan smiled, waved Qin Feng over, and hopped on the truck.

The driver, still trembling, wiped the cold sweat off his forehead, continuously checking Qin Feng in the rearview mirror, fearing he might transform into a demon.

Qin Feng gazed out the window, murmuring, "Master was right, Spiritual Qi is indeed thin down here. Even though ordinary people don't cultivate Daoist techniques, they can still use science; it truly is a new path to cultivation!"

Lin Nan laughed beside him, "Enough with the reflection. We'll treat you to a good meal when we reach the city, let you experience true human civilization!"

The driver was already frightened, and hearing Qin Feng and Lin Nan talk like this, he was terrified to the point of tears.

He trembled as he drove to the highway exit and only after Qin Feng and Lin Nan got off did he leap off the truck, shouting towards the toll booth police, "Demon, my dear mother, I saw a demon!"

Lin Nan took Qin Feng by taxi directly back to her home in the city.

This was one of West Capital City's top luxury communities, surrounded by gardens and flowing streams, said to be the ancient monarch's Imperial Garden, hence the name "Imperial Garden District."

The villas inside were entirely three-story structures, each with a small garden in front, making for quite an impressive environment.

The villa door locks were fingerprint recognition; after Lin Nan led Qin Feng inside, she let him sit on the sofa for a while.

She fetched a stack of cash from the cabinet, took a couple of bills, and handed them to the driver outside.

Qin Feng curiously surveyed the interior, feeling like he'd entered the Immortal Realm, finding everything fascinating.

"Technology techniques are indeed powerful, even able to make electric light!"

He gazed at the crystal chandelier in admiration, thinking coming to the city was the right choice, there really was a lot to learn here.

Just then, a voice came from a room beside the living room, "Sis, where have you been, why are you just getting back?"

Before the voice faded, a long-haired girl in a tank top stepped out from the room.

She was cute and lively, with a bit of baby fat, big eyes like crescent moons, quite enchanting.

When her eyes met Qin Feng's for three seconds, she suddenly screamed, "Help, someone, there's a thief!"
