"They shouldn't have died... even if they made mistakes..."
The Judge, eyes bloodshot, murmured as he drew the sword from his waist, trembling as he stood opposite Lin Lan: "I want to seek justice for the dead..."
"Oh? Why do you think that?" Lin Lan's face showed a hint of confusion.
"I can understand protecting the citizens; after all, that's the hero's job."
He leaned forward nervously, spreading his hands: "But why do you stand up for your 'competitors'? There's clearly no justice law protecting heroes in Flower Celestial City?"
"Shut up!!"
Roman roared out, charging at Lin Lan like a rabid beast.
Beside him, Ansel raised a fist, striking with a thud, and Roman only felt darkness engulf his vision as the world became blurry.
"Seems like this sea realm isn't as bad as I imagined."
Before losing consciousness, he faintly heard the boy's sigh.
"Have a good sleep, Roman."
Lin Lan revealed an approving smile: "There's still much use for you."
