Battlefield of the Lulusia Kingdom.
Demons, wyverns, skeletons—all manner of giant monsters ran rampant.
When the Revolutionary Army awoke, they were met with a nightmarish landscape overrun by creatures, many of which resembled the monsters from their dreams the night before. Among them stood a towering bald giant that bore an uncanny resemblance to Gurd.
Sabo stared at the bald giant, a chill running down his spine. The giant's appearance was nearly identical to the Gurd from his dream.
He refused to believe this was mere coincidence.
"What the hell is going on?!"
"This must be the enemy's doing!"
The Army Commanders gathered on higher ground.
The monsters were wreaking havoc, destroying all life on the island—even civilians were not spared. In the distance, thick plumes of smoke rose from several towns.
"The God's Knights!"
After careful consideration, this scene could only be the work of the God's Knights. Only they possessed such bizarre and terrifying power.
And they cared nothing for innocent lives!
"Stop them!"
The Army Commanders exchanged glances and immediately sprang into action. If these monsters weren't stopped, the entire island would be annihilated.
Too many innocent civilians lived here—the Revolutionary Army couldn't stand by and do nothing.
They also understood full well that this was the enemy's scheme. The God's Knights were forcing them out into the open.
The Celestial Dragons, who saw themselves as gods, cared nothing for the casualties among the common folk.
On the other side of the island, atop a hill.
Inside a temporary camp, a transformed Celestial Dragon awoke.
"Commander, everything is ready."
"Good work, Saint Killingham."
Shamrock nodded.
The mission to eradicate the Revolutionary Army had been entrusted to him. Alongside Saint Killingham, two other members of the God's Knights were present.
Saint Sommers and Gunko watched the monsters with satisfaction.
"What a magnificent sight!"
"Turning dreams into reality."
The monstrous horde covering the land was the result of Saint Killingham's ability—manifesting creatures from dreams into the real world.
Dragon-Dragon Fruit, Mythical Zoan: Kirin Form!
"With this, the Revolutionary Army will have no choice but to reveal themselves. All we need to do is wait and then wipe them out."
"Kehahaha! How tragically noble—rushing to their deaths for the sake of mere insects."
"Don't get careless."
Shamrock surveyed the battlefield when suddenly, a streak of light appeared in the sky, hurtling toward the island.
"A meteor?"
The thought barely crossed his mind before the massive meteor crashed into the heart of the battlefield, crushing a nightmare monster into the earth.
BOOM!!!
A pillar of fire erupted into the sky!
Then, more streaks of light appeared—not just one, but an entire meteor swarm!
"That's Fujitora's ability!"
"That bastard! What does he think he's doing?!"
The smug grins vanished from their faces, replaced by fury. If Fujitora continued, the nightmare monsters would be wiped out in no time.
Shamrock's expression darkened.
"Gunko, contact the Marines immediately!"
"Understood!"
Ten minutes later, the last nightmare monster was crushed beneath a meteor.
At the center of the battlefield, the officers were stunned by Fujitora's actions. Even when Akainu himself called, ordering Fujitora to stand down, the Admiral refused to relent.
"Admiral Fujitora, those monsters were summoned by the God's Knights! If we destroy them without permission, there will be hell to pay!"
"Since when do the God's Knights have the right to take lives so freely?"
Fujitora's voice was low, simmering with anger.
Earlier, headquarters had ordered their withdrawal, a decision he couldn't comprehend. With two Admirals assisting, capturing the Revolutionary Army would have been far easier.
Now, he understood.
The God's Knights—no, the Celestial Dragons.
Trampling on lives, treating war as entertainment!
Such atrocious acts that defied human reason had completely enraged him. His heart was filled with nothing but fury now.
Fujitora sharply questioned his colleagues.
"Is the World Government some kind of god?!"
"..."
The officers recoiled in fear.
Such words should never be spoken aloud!
Fujitora could sense his subordinates' emotions. Compared to their anger at the trampling of lives, their fear of the Celestial Dragons was far greater.
It disappointed him to the core.
"Vice Admiral Maynard."
Fujitora removed his Justice Coat and handed it to Maynard. "Please return this mantle of justice to Marine Headquarters on my behalf. If the ones the Marines protect are such evil beings, then this old man can no longer draw his sword for the Navy."
Hearing about something and experiencing it firsthand were entirely different.
The people of the Lulusia Kingdom were drowning in despair and suffering, yet what awaited them was not hope or aid—but slaughter.
Civilians were used as bait.
Among them was the little girl he had helped not long ago, now buried under the rubble, only a thin arm visible.
How could he endure this?
He knew the World Government wasn't as noble as it claimed, but he had still held onto hope, wanting to dismantle corrupt systems like the Royal Seven Warlords of the Sea and slavery.
But now, his heart had died within him.
Fujitora gripped his cane sword tightly, veins bulging on his face from sheer fury. He could no longer suppress the rage burning inside him.
"Boom!"
The ground suddenly sank!
The Marines felt their bodies grow heavy, struggling even to stand straight, as if weighed down by an immense force.
"The gravity of the entire space has changed!"
Maynard stared at Fujitora in horror.
He could feel it—the atmosphere for kilometers around had become unbearably heavy, saturated with Fujitora's wrath.
The next moment, their bodies abruptly lightened.
"Whoosh—"
The rubble at their feet trembled, then floated into the sky. Nearby debris and wreckage all rose into the air.
"Crack!"
Mountains split apart, ascending toward the heavens.
The entire island was affected!
Maynard fell onto his backside, gaping at the sky in terror.
Admiral Fujitora—was enraged!
"Hey, what the hell is going on?!"
The Army Commanders staggered about, having already fought monsters and endured a meteor shower. Now, the sky itself had darkened.
Staring at the debris filling the sky, they gulped in unison. If that rubble came crashing down, survival would be unimaginable.
"It's Fujitora!"
"This is his true power!"
In their earlier battles, Fujitora had never displayed such overwhelming strength. Only now did the Army Commanders realize how terrifying he truly was.
Just as they braced themselves, the debris drifted toward the other side of the island—clearly, they weren't the targets.
"Infighting?"
The Army Commanders exchanged bewildered glances.
Ivankov threw his arms up in delight.
"We dodged a bullet, hee-haw!"
He had been scared out of his wits!
Having clashed with Admirals multiple times, he knew better than anyone how formidable they were. In a one-on-one fight, they stood no chance—even buying time would be a struggle.
The memories of being pummeled by Akainu during the Summit War were still vivid. And Fujitora's power now seemed no weaker than that of the original Three Admirals.
Meanwhile, at the God's Knights' camp...
The members of God's Knights froze as they watched the rubble blotting out the sky.
"Is it coming for us?!"
It was clear—Admiral Fujitora had betrayed them!
