Chapter 76 - The Girl Faced Her Own Heart

Time came to after school.

The rain was still falling, and wind had picked up, showing a tendency to intensify.

Because Kiso Yukina's monthly exam results weren't ideal and she needed to study hard, after explaining the situation to Murakami Yuu via message, she went home early.

Eriri picked up her school bag and headed to the doujin game club. Recently, she had been actively cooperating with the game's progress to draw CG images. It wasn't that she was particularly enthusiastic or fond of it, but rather she wanted to quickly finish what she had initially promised Aki Tomoya, so she could leave the club without any psychological burden.

As Sakata Gintoki had said during lunch break, Murakami Yuu packed his bag and prepared to visit the student council room.

Since his classmate Anna Kinomiya had the same destination, the two went together.

In this kind of weather, there weren't many students lingering at school, making the hallways somewhat deserted.

But even so, every few steps someone would wave and greet Anna Kinomiya, showing her popularity among students.

Well, after all, this was Anna Kinomiya, who ranked fourth in popularity among the [Academy Ladies] on the school forum.

Beautiful and refined appearance, restrained and polite behavior, and most importantly, holding the position of student council president - the status enhancement made her overall appeal even higher.

Plus those breasts that were swollen to an almost unreasonable degree...

Murakami Yuu's eyes caught a glimpse of that exaggerated amplitude from the corner of his vision, and he thought of that day's scene and the rose fragrance on her body.

Women who like rose fragrance have passionate, fiery hearts that are straightforward, yearning for intimacy with their beloved, focusing on the exhilarating process of union...

He glanced again imperceptibly at Anna Kinomiya walking beside him at some distance.

She was looking straight ahead, the corners of her mouth slightly raised, her back held straight. She wore a long-sleeved white shirt with buttons properly fastened to the collar, tied with a pretty red ribbon.

The length of her skirt was much longer than other girls', almost dragging on the ground, only revealing a small section of her ankles.

Not a single inch of excess bare skin anywhere on her body.

No matter how you looked at it, there was nothing to fault - an undeniable well-bred young lady.

Heh, recognizing women by scent or whatever...

Murakami Yuu withdrew his gaze.

Still talking about exhilarating union processes - how absurd. The words in books really can't all be believed.

Arriving at the student council room, Murakami Yuu handed the appointment letter Sakata Gintoki had given him to Anna Kinomiya to store. The two sat by the conference table, drinking black tea while discussing some specific student council work.

Since he had previously read the written student council handbook, Murakami Yuu could follow her train of thought.

Before long, secretary Ibuki Yuki also arrived at the student council room.

"Today you officially take office, Vice President."

The first thing Ibuki Yuki did upon arriving at the student council room was come to Murakami Yuu's side to greet him.

"I suppose so. Please take care of me from now on."

Murakami Yuu smiled. Although her actions were somewhat overfamiliar, they weren't disagreeable.

"I'm the one who needs you to take care of me. I haven't handled many things well before, and in the end, the president still had to help me resolve them."

"Since you know that, please be more careful in the future. How about not making me clean up after those simple matters anymore?"

Words that seemed like reproach on the surface, but Anna Kinomiya's tone didn't carry any anger.

It seemed the relationships among the student council members were quite good.

Murakami Yuu made this judgment.

"Speaking of which, I didn't see accountant Uchida-san today."

"I know, she probably went straight home."

Ibuki Yuki quickly raised her hand to answer.

"Mitsuko compiled the budget usage for various clubs and needs to compare it with last quarter's data to create an intuitive chart. She'll submit it to the president for review later. It involves this quarter's club budget allocation - can't be careless."

Murakami Yuu nodded. He had also seen in the student council handbook that the accountant position was indeed responsible for this work.

"After drinking this tea and resting a bit, you'll need to get busy too, Koyuki."

Anna Kinomiya handed Ibuki Yuki a cup of tea, then took a small stack of documents and placed them in front of her.

"These need to be processed quickly."

"Annoying file organization again..."

Ibuki Yuki's upper body flopped onto the table.

"If you don't mind, I can help."

Murakami Yuu said.

"Eh? Vice President-sama, is that really okay?!"

"No, it's not."

Anna Kinomiya instantly doused Ibuki Yuki's enthusiasm, then glanced at Murakami Yuu. Her gaze shifted, and she seemed to compromise as she changed her tone.

"Relaxing the conditions - just give it to me within two days. You're allowed to take it home to organize, but be careful not to make mistakes again. If you lose documents like last time, Koyuki will have to figure it out herself."

"Understood! That definitely won't happen again."

Ibuki Yuki held the documents in her hand and tapped them vertically to align them.

"That's all for today. You can go back first."

"Eh?"

Ibuki Yuki looked at Anna Kinomiya and took out snacks from her bag.

"We're disbanding like this today? I brought cookies thinking everyone could eat them together."

"It's okay, leave them in the cabinet over there and we can eat them tomorrow. The rain seems to be getting heavier. For safety's sake, it's better to go back early."

"Got it. Then let's go together."

"Someone from my family will pick me up soon. I'll just wait for them at the student council."

"I see."

She glanced at Murakami Yuu but ultimately didn't have the nerve to extend an invitation to walk together. She picked up her bag and headed toward the door.

"See you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow."

Ibuki Yuki left.

Anna Kinomiya stood up to pour tea, walking to the small table on the side where the teapot was, her gaze looking through the window.

Because of the rain, there were very few people at school. The youthful and passionate symphony of sports clubs and music clubs mixed together usually playing had temporarily ceased, replaced by the sound of wind carrying rain beating against the windows.

"It's very quiet."

"It really is very... quiet."

Murakami Yuu's response paused for a moment, the reason being Anna Kinomiya's unmoving gaze looking at him.

No fluctuation - you couldn't see any emotion in it.

"President, since today has ended, I'll be going back now."

Without thinking much, Murakami Yuu stood up and reached for his bag on the side.

Anna Kinomiya didn't respond. She slowly walked to the student council room door, reached out to turn the lock, and a small "click" sound came from the not-so-large room.

Murakami Yuu looked at her inexplicably.

"Pre... President?"

"I'd like to take up some of Murakami-kun's time."

Anna Kinomiya walked toward him, stopping two steps away.

"There's something I'm very concerned about. It happens when I think of Murakami-kun. I don't quite understand why."

Murakami Yuu frowned.

"What is it?"

"Why does this situation occur?"

Anna Kinomiya pulled the hem of her skirt upward with both hands. Her dignified and refined face carried puzzlement, her eyes clear as could be without a trace of impurity.

In the locked, enclosed room, the sound of pattering rain came from outside the window.

Murakami Yuu's eyes widened. The extremely impactful scene made his thoughts seem to step into a muddy, thick swamp.

Sinking into it, unable to move.

What does she want to do?!
