Chapter 282 - Chapter 282: Chansey and the Larvitar Baby

"Brr… the wind's a bit strong…"

High in the sky, Lin Feng rode on Pidgeot's back. The howling air rushed past him, and he instinctively hunched his shoulders.

"Pidgeot?"

Is it too fast?

Hearing Lin Feng's sigh from above, Pidgeot asked with concern.

"It's fine, really."

Lin Feng was not afraid of the cold. It was just that the wind was a little intense.

"Pidgeot…"

Pidgeot fell silent. Its feathers were thick, so it naturally did not fear the cold. But as it flew into the city, it noticed that people on the ground were already wearing heavy padded coats at this time of year.

Carried by the wind, they passed over the city in less than ten minutes. The outline of buildings appeared below.

As Pidgeot slowed down, Lin Feng took out his phone to check the delivery address.

"Happiness Road, 11-6."

He continued reading.

"Recipient: Su Luoluo… That name sounds familiar."

Lin Feng paused. The name rang a bell, but he could not immediately recall where he had heard it.

As they approached the city's airspace, a law enforcement officer in a black uniform flew over as well, riding a Pidgeot of their own.

In large cities, there were certain restrictions on the airspace for powerful flying Pokémon like birds of prey.

However, Pokémon registered with the League were allowed to use officially designated aerial routes.

Back in the era when communication relied on letters, these air routes had been specially designed for Flying type Pokémon.

Even though letters were no longer common, the aerial routes still existed.

They only required routine daily checks to remain open.

Lin Feng's twenty Pidgeot had all been registered at the Pokémon Center in Wutong City back when they were still Pidgey and Pidgeotto.

Here, the officer simply scanned them with a Rotom phone.

"It's breeder Lin Feng's Pidgeot delivering an order,"

the accompanying Rotom responded promptly.

After confirming Lin Feng's identity and Pidgeot's registration, the officer waved them through.

Once cleared, Lin Feng could not help but glance down at Pidgeot.

"By the way, do you ever run into trouble with them when you're delivering orders?"

"Pidgeot?"

No. They usually just scan us and let us go.

"That's good."

Lin Feng nodded.

They continued flying, weaving between the high rise buildings of Changsha City.

Before long, they reached their destination on the outskirts of the city.

The address turned out to be a small Western style house with a distinctive charm.

It looked like part of a suburban neighborhood.

Yet it was noticeably livelier than Wutong Town.

Even in winter, the streets were busy with people coming and going.

The houses lining the road looked far more vibrant than the blue brick and tile homes back in Wutong.

"Pidgeot!"

With a cry, Pidgeot descended. After landing at the designated spot, Lin Feng triggered the delivery notification and waited outside the house.

Almost immediately after hearing Pidgeot's call, a voice came from inside.

"Chansey!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming!"

A girl wearing a cute red pajama set hurriedly opened the security door. Her face was bright with excitement.

"My Moomoo Milk is here?"

She looked like she had been eagerly waiting for it. Or perhaps she had not expected to see anyone besides Pidgeot outside. As she stepped out, one hand was still bent awkwardly at her waist while she slipped on her shoes.

Two Pokémon stood beside her.

One had brown skin, a prominent horn, and fierce eyes. It was clearly a Larvitar.

The other had a pink upper body and a white lower half, with slightly curled hair. At the junction of pink and white was a small apron like wing.

Its body was round, its eyes small, and its face wore a gentle smile.

Chansey.

At first, Lin Feng did not recognize the girl. But the moment he saw the Larvitar, realization struck.

She was the girl who had battled his A Ninetales at the Youth Cup.

As Lin Feng was still surprised, the girl finished putting on her shoes, looked up, and froze. She stumbled backward in shock.

Fortunately, the Chansey behind her stepped forward and steadied her.

She stared at him in disbelief.

"Lin… Lin Feng?"

"Ah… hello. Your delivery has arrived."

Lin Feng was just as surprised.

He had not expected to run into someone he knew while making a delivery.

"Lin Feng… you… I…"

The girl was flustered, completely at a loss.

She stood there for a moment before realizing how cold it was outside and wondering whether she should invite him in.

"Um… would you like to come inside for a bit?"

Lin Feng glanced at the Chansey behind her.

Pokémon: Chansey

Gender: Female

Ability: Serene Grace

Potential: Red

Nature: …

Strength: Level 55 to 57

Moves: Charm, Mimic, Covet, Disarming Voice, Tail Whip, Life Dew, Heal Pulse, Helping Hand…

Description: The Happiness Pokémon. It is said that anyone who eats the eggs it lays will lose all their bad temper.

He nodded quietly.

"It is a bit cold."

Remembering Pidgeot, he followed her inside.

The house was spacious and clearly heated.

Lucy Su's thoughts were in a mess.

This was not her first time ordering Moomoo Milk from the neighboring breeder's online shop.

It was her second.

The first time had gone smoothly, and she had been thrilled the moment she received the milk.

Moomoo Milk from a professional breeder, when paired with certain simple minerals, could provide most of the nutrition a Larvitar needed during its growth period.

Compared to expensive and bulky mineral ores, this milk was incredibly cost effective.

Now that online shopping was available, it had solved a major problem for her.

What she had never expected was that this time, Lin Feng himself would personally deliver the Moomoo Milk.
