"A Hidden Ability again?"

Lin Feng raised an eyebrow.

Telepathy was an excellent ability.

But still…

"Ah! My hair! Noibat!"

Seeing the little bat clutching her hair, Qin Shu let out a sharp cry.

She reached up, trying to grab it.

"Noi-noi?"

Noibat clamped onto its trainer's hair and chirped happily. When it noticed Qin Shu angrily reaching for it, it quickly fluttered higher into the air, hovering just out of reach.

Close enough that she could almost grab it.

But not quite.

Qin Shu kept jumping and stretching, yet she simply could not catch the mischievous Pokémon.

Watching the scene, Lin Feng could not help but laugh softly.

This Noibat definitely had personality.

After several failed attempts, Qin Shu finally gave up and glared at the bat.

At the same time, she explained to Lin Feng, "I caught it on my way back. I was gathering wild berries with Blastoise, and it just followed me and refused to leave."

"So annoying!"

She clearly sounded a little upset.

At first she thought the Noibat had simply come to look for food.

Instead, it seemed to have decided she was a long term food supplier.

Lin Feng chuckled and released a faint trace of his Eternal Stone power as he waved his hand toward the Noibat.

"That's not fair," Qin Shu complained with a pout.

The Noibat had been following her the whole time, refusing to let her touch it and ignoring her commands. Qin Shu had originally planned to return it to the place where she found it.

But every time she walked away, it would track her scent and fly back to her.

It was enough to make her want to cry.

The strange part was that it would not let her touch it.

Yet it kept following her everywhere.

Only when it wanted food would it obediently fly down, acting almost like it really belonged to her.

Since Lin Feng did not appear to have any food in his hands, Qin Shu was sure the Noibat would not come down.

But the next moment she froze.

The Noibat she could not catch earlier slowly drifted down out of curiosity and landed on Lin Feng's arm.

Her eyes widened in disbelief.

"Why?!"

Lin Feng simply laughed.

Looking at the small bat in front of him, a faint image suddenly appeared in his mind through Telepathy.

(Why?)

"What do you mean, why?" Lin Feng said with a smile as he gently rubbed Noibat's ear.

The little bat flapped its ears softly, releasing faint ripples of sound that spread across Lin Feng's body.

"You feel very comfortable," the impression came.

Lin Feng did not explain anything. Instead, he casually changed the subject.

"Hungry? Want something to eat?"

"Noi-noi?"

Noibat did not fully understand.

But when Lin Feng pulled out an energy cube that Dragonite usually ate, its eyes instantly lit up.

"Noi-noi!"

It immediately flew to Lin Feng's palm, grabbed the energy cube with the tiny claws on its wings, and chirped cautiously.

"No-no?"

(Is this for me?)

After Lin Feng nodded, Noibat broke into a joyful expression and began devouring the cube.

While it ate, it allowed Lin Feng's hand to rest on its body without any resistance.

Watching from the side, Qin Shu stomped her foot in frustration.

"So annoying!"

Whose Pokémon was this supposed to be?

She had just brought it back, and Lin Feng already looked like he was about to steal it.

While Noibat was eating, Lin Feng turned his attention back to Qin Shu's original question.

"So you want energy cubes for these three Pokémon, right?"

Hearing the conversation return to the topic of food, Qin Shu's expression became more serious.

She poked her two index fingers together a little shyly.

"Um… also for my mom's Chansey."

Out in the wild, she had not been able to feed her Pokémon very well.

Now that she had returned home, she naturally wanted them to eat better.

"Sure. No problem."

Lin Feng nodded.

If Qin Shu had come back, that meant Uncle Qin and Aunt Mei would return soon as well.

For him, cooking extra food every day was nothing unusual.

Adding one Blastoise, one Floragato, one Noibat, and one Chansey was not a big deal.

Only Blastoise ate a lot. The others had relatively small appetites.

At that moment, Qin Shu took out a card and handed it to Lin Feng with both hands.

"What's this?"

Lin Feng looked confused.

"That's their food money. It's the prize money I won in the Aqua Picarro Cup tournament…"

Qin Shu glanced reluctantly at the card.

Five hundred thousand was written on it.

She was not even sure if it was enough to cover her Pokémon's meals.

"All of it? You're not keeping anything for yourself?"

Lin Feng found it a little amusing.

Her Pokémon earned the money.

Her Pokémon spent the money.

And she did not take a single coin for herself.

"Not a single bit."

"Well, alright."

Lin Feng accepted the card with a smile.

When Qin Shu traveled, she rarely spent money on anything besides Pokémon food.

She was like a child who carefully saved every coin just to buy better meals for her Pokémon.

Lin Feng suddenly remembered something from their childhood.

Once, the little girl had saved an entire month of allowance to buy a newly released commemorative Poké Ball.

Unfortunately, when she finally went to buy it, she encountered an injured Oddish.

She picked it up and rushed to the Pokémon Center, spending all her savings on its treatment without hesitation.

Naturally, she could no longer afford the commemorative Poké Ball afterward.

Thinking about it, Lin Feng could not help smiling.

Then he turned to Blastoise.

"When it's time to eat, bring them over here. Don't take the reservoir route anymore. The dining area is the building up ahead now. Got it?"

"Blastoise!"

Blastoise immediately grinned widely and nodded excitedly.

Finally, it would not need to swim over every day.

Seeing Lin Feng accept the card, Qin Shu also relaxed.

But suddenly she seemed to remember something.

Her expression changed again, filled with resentment.

"And another thing, Lin Feng. Jirachi only stays awake for seven days before falling asleep again. Why didn't you tell me that?"

Qin Shu remembered the moment she had been about to leave that day.

No wonder Lin Feng's Pokémon had all looked so gloomy.

Jirachi had already fallen asleep by then.

Originally she thought Jirachi would sleep for a thousand years, which made her feel incredibly sad.

Later she learned that it would only sleep for one year.

That realization finally let her breathe a sigh of relief.

Because if it really slept for a thousand years…

She would never be able to see Jirachi again.
