Kael had immediately rushed to the scene as soon as Irene told him. He carried Lucien back to the car, and had told me Kai's body would be disposed of Here I am, outside Lucien's personal ward crying my eyes out.
I feel like I've committed some kind of unforgivable sin, and each second is pressing the guilt more and more on my shoulders.
Irene rushes into the room, breathing heavily, "Lyanna!" She gasps.
I raise my head to see her rushing towards me. I immediately scramble to my feet, run towards her, and collapse in her arms.
"Oh Irene! I killed someone!" I sob throatily, throwing my arms around her neck, "I.. I didn't mean to, I just couldn't help it. I was tired of him."
Irene pats my back, "It's okay bestie. It's okay to get rid of those obstacles that binder your path."
"Do you think the god of light is angry with me?" I pull away from her, sniffling.
