"Don't leave me."
"What do you mean by that?" I narrow my eyes, "Would you rather I suffer for your pleasure?"
He tries to sit up, "Hey, need a hand here."
I rush to help him, holding him by the torso, and helping him rest properly in a sitting position.
"Better?"
"Yes, thank you," he whispers.
"I don't want you to suffer," he says again, "I know now you don't work for me anymore; you'd disappear. I don't want you to disappear, alright?" He knits his brows together.
I stare at him, puzzled, "Uh.. I have no business with you now. Why should I bother you with my presence?" I dig my teeth into my lower lip.
"No wait," he reaches out for my hand again, "Hold on. If you leave, you'd upset Lucas, and if he's upset, there's no way I would be able to function."
I release my hand from his, "What if Lucas isn't upset? How would you feel?"
He hesitates, his eyes searching mine.
Just answer the damned question!
