Jennifer blinked. At first, she couldn't register Elena's question. After all, the proof was in front of everyone. What else could anyone ask for?
When she finally understood the question, she gestured at the floor. "The photographs," she said. "It's all there."
Elena looked down at the photographs scattered across the floor. She bent and picked them up one by one, unhurried, as though she were collecting documents from her own desk. She straightened and went through them slowly.
Then, she laughed. Everyone watched her in surprise. It was such a critical moment. Why was she laughing?
Elena didn't care about anyone and just held the photographs up.
"Every single one of these," she said, "has been taken from an angle."
