Adam slowly regained his mana as they entered the portal into the Spiritual Realm. He teleported them towards the elder's house, where the creatures were ready to investigate the werewolf lineage. The boy awoke to see multiple creatures, and fear consumed him.
His body began to transform, but Juro used his Tengu ability to control his mind, forcing the boy to revert to his human form. Kwaru placed his hands on the boy's head, reading his thoughts and memories, which revealed glimpses of past encounters with a female teacher who was, in fact, the werewolf. Brad made a note of the school and the teacher's name before contacting another creature to get her address.
With the teacher's information at hand, they performed a ritual to seal the werewolf blood inside the boy. Kwaru used his powers, and a gate opened behind him, with multiple hands surging forth, pulling the werewolf's soul out of the boy's body. As the door closed, the boy was drenched in blood, the werewolf's essence flowing out from his skin.
They cast a healing magic and locked his body from being taken again. Kwaru informed Brad to handle the teacher while they sent the boy's body back to his room.
Adam followed Brad with Emily trailing behind. They reached the teacher's apartment building, and Brad told Adam to knock on the door since he was human.
The teacher opened the door and asked what he wanted so late at night. Adam, trying to flirt, as it was the only way to get her to open the door, found the teacher, dulled by drink, taking pride in fulfilling young boys' fantasies. She pulled Adam in, pushing him towards the bed.
Adam quickly donned his black armor suit and grabbed the teacher, pinning her down. He entered the shadow realm, teleporting outside with the rest of the group before teleporting to the mana point.
In his black armor, the female teacher transformed into a werewolf, but Adam's grip in his armor was too powerful. Adam brought the werewolf inside the Spiritual Realm and threw her to the ground.
Creatures instantly sealed her from moving with their abilities. Kwaru immediately sensed this creature was from the Betrayers' Group, exiled creatures hiding among humans. She showed no remorse for her actions, and the boy had willingly wanted to become a werewolf himself. She had merely been toying with the male student while she ate animals to survive. By the rules, she hadn't directly interfered with humans, as the boy willingly wanted to become one.
Kwaru held a meeting with the other elders to find ways to prosecute her since her actions caused a death in the human world. However, the evidence showed that she didn't command or tell the boy to kill. So, she was free to go as she didn't directly interfere. Adam couldn't believe that the culprit was free to roam by the creatures' law. Adam suggested they look into the responsibility of their own bloodline.
After Adam's suggestion, they tried to find a way, but still, the actions were done by the boy, and the contract, now null, had removed her from being incriminated. The elders warned her that if it happened a second time, she would be sent to the humans to be gotten rid of.
"Human lives are lost due to her actions, yet she isn't incriminated. This is a loophole these creatures are exploiting," Adam said.
As the teacher walked away, smiling, knowing she could get away with the loophole, the creatures of the Spiritual Realm showed anger towards her.
"We abide by the law set in stone. We are unable to do anything," Emily stated.
Adam faced the harsh reality of the Spiritual Realm: the good abide by the law, but the evil ones find ways around it. It set a tone for why humans were fearful of these creatures due to the bad apples that bared their fangs on humans.
As Adam walked away from the Spiritual Realm, the teacher was waiting for him outside.
"You're a human, and yet you're meddling yourself with the creatures," the teacher said, getting closer.
The teacher sniffed at Adam, and as she was about to lick him, Emily kicked her face so hard that she flew towards the forest, breaking trees upon impact. The teacher transformed into a werewolf as it charged towards Emily. Emily smiled, knowing that now it wasn't about the law anymore. It was a fight to the death between them. As Emily's eyes turned fiery red, the werewolf lunged but was grabbed by another creature's tail.
"You will die if you fight her," a Kamaitachi said, grabbing the werewolf. As more creatures came out from the portal, the Betrayers' Group emerged from the forest. Both sides watched each other, ready for war. They grabbed the werewolf and moved away, running out of sight.
"No bitch should ever come close to my lover. She thinks she can cross the line," Emily said furiously.
"I'm not sure whether to be impressed or afraid of you, Emily," Adam said, trying to lighten the mood.
Emily grabbed onto Adam's hands and said, "I'm still your cute wife. Don't be scared, alright? This is exactly what I wanted to do to Alice. Unfortunately, she would die with one kick," Emily stated, her words and actions of being cute not matching.
"Please don't hurt Alice, I believe there is a misunderstanding between us. Once I meet with my uncle, we can clear it out once and for all," Adam pleaded, fearing for Alice's safety.
