Chapter 19 - Kitzimo's Rage

CHAPTER 00019

Kitzimo's fearful gaze quickly converted to a deeply irate and aggravated stare. Rising from the throne of a chair he sat in, he approached Akar; a menacing spectacle to most, indeed, but it did nothing to someone who had just defeated numerous power users by sheer way of wit and a bit of aid from strength.

"So," said the swordsman, readying his blade. "Suprised I made it this far?"

The mobster was now clenching his fists in agony as he gazed around at the bodies of his his strongest allies and subordinates littered across the basement. Turning towards Akar, he decided that he would end it right then and there.

To Akar's total shock, within the blink of an eye, Kitzimo had gone from his position across the room to right before his face, meaning his outstretched fist would reach his face faster. Kitzimo punched ridiculously hard, pummeling his opponent into a stack of wooden crates behind him.

As he recovered, Akar also processed what had just happened. Concluding that even he had a Goji ability, he retrieved his swords and attempted to fight once more. However, it was no use, as the mob man was already one step ahead (or behind, rather) as he sent Akar to the ground once more.

Bruised and bloodied at this point yet still determined, Akar kept trying to return to his feet every time Kitzimo knocked him down. He didn't have much success, though, as Kitzimo was fast.

Too fast. Akar couldn't keep up.

Kitzimo finally kept him down, ruthlessly beating him, teleporting around him for each hit to ensure maximum pain. Akar tried, but just couldn't match the mobster's speed and fury.

"I invite you to my home," he said, gritting his teeth in anger as he continued to barrage his fists. "And you murder my family? Those who kill must be killed, there is no other way."

As he was beaten to a pulp, Akar caught a glimpse of the agonizing wrath behind his attacker's pupils. This was it. There was no way he could recover from this one.

Akar's journey was already reaching its final chapter.
