“I was just on my way back from asking Marco to make another cake because my brother wanted to eat two slices.”
“Oh, you should have asked the servants for something like that!“
“That’s right. You are such a kind person, princess.”
“But, I asked what you guys were talking about.”

“It was nothing.”
Erika sighed as she slowly looked up at the maids, trying to act as if nothing had happened with flustered voices.
“Actually, I heard everything because I was eavesdropping. You were badmouthing Roan, weren’t you?“
“Oh, we… We apologize, Your Highness.”
“W-we were just upset. Did it make you uncomfortable?”
“Yes. It made me very very very uncomfortable, so be careful from now on. Don’t go around badmouthing Roan again. Next time, I’m going to get angry.”
