Mika finally managed to pull back from the onslaught of kisses, pushing gently against Astrid's shoulders.
"Okay, okay, that's enough."
He wiped at his face, which was now thoroughly wet.
"Any more and my entire face is going to turn blue from all the kissing and sucking you're doing."
Astrid pouted immediately, her lower lip jutting out in protest.
"But Miiikaaa—"
"Ah-ah-ah." He held up a warning finger. "If you try to do anymore, I'll get up and walk away. Is that what you want?"
Her eyes went wide with panic.
"No, no, no, Mika! Don't do that at all!"
She grabbed onto him desperately, pulling him back into a tight hug—a normal hug this time, without the kisses.
"Big sister will be obedient! She'll follow what you say! Just please don't go anywhere! Instead—"
She said eagerly.
"Let's talk! Let's talk about what exactly is going on in your life right now! I want to know what you're doing!"
Mika's eyes narrowed slightly.
Suspicion crept into his expression.
