Aryan looked at Aanya, who was still laughing.
"Don't laugh so much," he said, feeling embarrassed.
Aanya tried to control her laughter.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Aryan. I just couldn't hold it back."
Aryan looked at her.
Aanya continued, "I became suspicious when you said you made it on your first try. I mean, that day, when you tried to help me, you couldn't even make the dough properly, and now you've made an entire pizza!"
She burst out laughing again.
Aryan looked at her without saying anything.
But soon, Aanya noticed that he seemed a little sad. She immediately tried to make him feel better.
"Well, nobody can do everything perfectly the first time, right?"
Aryan looked at her.
Aanya continued, "Even when I first tried cooking rice, I had no idea about the measurements. I made so much rice that our entire colony could have eaten it!"
Aryan couldn't help but smile.
Aanya smiled back.
"So, as a beginner, you did really well!"
She said this before taking another bite of the pizza.
Aryan watched her quietly.
After a while, Aanya got down from the bed.
"Where are you going?" Aryan asked.
"To the kitchen."
Aryan immediately stopped her.
"Wait! Why?"
Aanya looked at him, trying to hide her smile.
"I want to see what you've done to the kitchen, too!"
With that, she walked out of the room.
"But, Aanya…"
Aryan had no choice but to follow her.
The moment Aanya entered the kitchen, she froze.
For a few seconds, she simply stared at the mess in front of her.
Flour was scattered across the counter, utensils were lying everywhere, and the entire kitchen looked as though a storm had passed through it.
Aryan stood behind her, looking utterly embarrassed.
Aanya slowly turned toward him.
Then, unable to control herself any longer, she burst out laughing.
Devika, Radha, Nandini, and Prerna, who were standing in the kitchen, all looked at her.
Aanya pointed at Aryan.
"Mr. Aryan! What have you done?"
Devika looked around in disbelief.
"Yes, Aryan! What is all this?"
Even Sudha was shocked by the condition of the kitchen.
"She said, I can't clean all this!" Devika exclaimed.
Aanya tried to hold back her laughter.
Aryan looked at his mother helplessly.
"Mom, I don't know how this happened! I mean, I only made a pizza!"
Prerna raised her eyebrows.
"Oh, really, Bhai? So you're telling us that a tsunami hit our kitchen?"
Aryan immediately looked at her.
"When did I say that? I'm just saying I don't know how this happened!"
Aanya looked around the kitchen.
"Now, what are we going to do?"
Prerna folded her arms and smiled mischievously.
"We don't have to do anything. Bhai will clean the kitchen himself."
Aanya turned toward Aryan.
Aryan stared at Prerna in disbelief.
"Me? I mean, I don't even know how to clean!"
Prerna smirked.
"Well, Bhai, you didn't know how to cook either, but you still made pizza for Bhabhi, didn't you?"
Aryan and Aanya looked at each other.
Prerna continued teasing him.
"You'll learn how to clean while doing it!"
Aryan sighed.
"But I have to go to the office!"
Devika immediately shook her head.
"No, no! No excuses, Aryan. You made this mess, so you're the one who's going to clean it."
Aanya looked at Aryan sympathetically.
"Well, Aunty, poor Mr. Aryan. He doesn't even know how to clean!"
Prerna immediately turned toward her.
"Wait, wait, Bhabhi! Which side are you on? Bhai's side or ours?"
Aanya looked at Aryan.
Prerna continued,
"Even though you're Bhai's wife, you still have to be on our side. Don't forget that!"
Aanya didn't say anything.
Aryan finally raised his hands in surrender.
"Okay, okay! I'll clean it. Just give me some space. You can leave everything to me."
Devika smiled in satisfaction.
"Good!"
Prerna placed a hand on Aanya's shoulder.
"Come on, Bhabhi. We have lots of wedding preparations to discuss!"
She led Aanya away from the kitchen.
As Aanya walked out, she turned her head and looked back at Aryan.
He was standing in the middle of the kitchen, staring at the enormous mess he had created.
After everyone left, Aryan took a deep breath.
"You can do this, Aryan," he told himself.
He looked around once again.
"Just think of it as a client project."
With that, he rolled up his sleeves and began cleaning the kitchen.
Aryan started cleaning everything one by one.
At first, he thought it would be an easy task. But as he continued, he slowly realised just how difficult it was to clean the entire kitchen.
After quite some time, he finally managed to clean everything.
He stood there, looking at the spotless kitchen, and let out a sigh of relief.
Then he stretched his arms and said,
"It's harder than dealing with a client!"
Just then, Devika entered the kitchen.
She looked around and was surprised to see everything clean.
"Well, not bad, Aryan!"
Aryan turned toward her.
Devika smiled.
"You've done everything pretty well."
Aryan looked at her.
"Mom, now you're happy, right?"
Devika nodded.
"Yes, I'm happy."
Aryan nodded his head in disbelief.
Just then, his phone rang.
He took it out and checked the screen. It was a call from the police officer.
He glanced at Devika before leaving the kitchen and heading to his room.
Once inside, he answered the call.
"Hello, Officer."
"Hello, sir. Well, sir, would it be possible for you and ma'am to come to the police station for confirmation regarding Ravi?"
Aryan paused for a moment.
The officer continued,
"Sir, it would be better if we could resolve this matter as soon as possible."
Aryan thought for a moment before replying,
"Okay. We'll come."
With that, he ended the call.
He then headed toward Prerna's room, where Aanya and Prerna were discussing the wedding preparations.
Prerna showed Aanya a design.
"Bhabhi, this design is nice, right?"
Aanya looked at it and nodded.
"Yes, it is."
After a moment, Aanya asked,
"Well, Prerna, the choreographer is coming tomorrow, right? Have you spoken to him?"
Prerna nodded.
"Yes, Bhabhi. He said he'll come tomorrow morning."
Aanya let out a sad sigh.
"If this accident hadn't happened, I would have been the choreographer."
Just then, Aryan entered the room.
"What are you guys talking about?"
Both Aanya and Prerna turned toward him.
Prerna looked at him in surprise.
"Bhai? Wait! Did you finish cleaning the kitchen?"
Aryan nodded proudly.
"Of course!"
Prerna looked at him.
"I didn't expect you to finish it so quickly!"
Aryan felt a little proud of himself.
But Prerna wasn't done teasing him.
"Well, I think we should remove Sudha from her job. Since you're so quick at cleaning, you can do it every day. We'll save both time and money!"
Aryan gave her an annoyed look.
Aanya and Prerna burst out laughing.
Aryan sighed.
"Will you two stop making fun of me?"
Then he turned toward Aanya.
"Aanya, come with me. I need to talk to you about something."
He gently took her hand.
Aanya looked at him in confusion.
"Where, Mr. Aryan?"
But Aryan didn't answer. He simply led her out of the room.
Prerna watched them leave.
Aryan took Aanya to their room and closed the door.
Aanya looked at him.
"What happened, Mr. Aryan? Are you hurt?"
She paused before adding,
"Okay, okay! We won't make fun of you again."
Aryan looked at her.
"It's not about that, Aanya."
Aanya tilted her head.
"Then what is it about?"
"Well, the officer called us to the police station for face identification."
The moment Aanya heard that, her expression changed.
She fell silent, recalling the incident. Her eyes slowly shifted away as panic began to creep into her mind.
Aryan noticed her reaction.
He stepped closer and gently held her hands.
Aanya looked up at him.
"I'm coming with you too," he said with a reassuring smile.
At the Police Station
A while later, Aryan and Aanya arrived at the police station.
The officer welcomed them.
"Hello, sir. Hello, ma'am. Please, have a seat."
Aanya glanced around the room before taking a seat beside Aryan.
The officer turned toward another policeman.
"Bring him in."
A few moments later, another officer entered with Ravi.
The moment Aanya saw him, both she and Aryan looked at him, trying to control their anger.
However, the sight of Ravi brought back all the horrible memories of that incident.
Aanya's expression changed. She began trembling.
"He... he is the one!"
Her voice shook as she pointed toward Ravi.
"He's the one who... who tried to..."
She struggled to complete her sentence.
Aryan immediately turned toward her.
"Aanya..."
But she was already overwhelmed by her emotions.
"He's the one, sir! He's the one who did this!"
Tears began rolling down her cheeks.
Aryan gently held her hand.
"Aanya, calm down. It's okay. I'm here."
The officer noticed her condition and gestured to the other policeman to take Ravi away.
As Ravi was escorted out of the room, Aanya continued crying.
Aryan pulled her into a comforting hug.
"It's okay, Aanya. He's not going to hurt you anymore."
After a while, the officer approached them.
"Sir, you can leave now. We'll take care of everything from here. We won't let him get away with what he's done."
Aryan nodded.
"Thank you, Officer."
With that, he helped Aanya out of the police station.
Inside the Car
Aryan started driving.
Aanya sat quietly beside him, looking out the window. Her expression was still gloomy.
Aryan glanced at her.
He wanted to do something to make her feel better.
Just then, he noticed an ice cream vendor standing by the roadside.
He suddenly stopped the car.
Aanya turned toward him.
"What happened, Mr. Aryan?"
"I'll be right back," he said before getting out.
Aanya watched him walk toward the ice cream vendor.
A few moments later, Aryan returned with an ice cream cone and handed it to her.
Aanya looked at it in surprise.
"Why did you buy this butterscotch ice cream? I'm fine. I'm not sad."
Aryan glanced at her.
"Who told you I bought it because you're sad? I just wanted to make you happy."
Aanya looked at him for a moment before a small smile appeared on her face.
Aryan smiled back.
"See? That's better."
Aanya took the ice cream and started eating it, still smiling.
Aryan started driving again.
After a while, he glanced at her and noticed that she was looking at him thoughtfully.
"Hey, what happened? What are you thinking about?"
Aanya shook her head.
"Nothing. I mean, Mr. Aryan, in one drama, something similar to this happened."
She looked at him curiously.
"Well, do you watch dramas too?"
Aryan immediately shook his head.
"Arey! I'm not watching any dramas. I just did it normally."
Aanya looked at him but didn't say anything.
After a brief pause, she spoke again.
"Well, Mr. Aryan... leave Kunal."
Aryan glanced at her.
"What?"
Aanya looked at him.
"Let's just forget what happened, okay?"
Aryan didn't respond immediately. He simply looked at her for a moment before turning his attention back to the road.
At Home
After some time, they finally reached home.
Devika and Prerna were sitting in the living room when Aryan and Aanya walked inside.
Devika noticed them.
"Aryan, Aanya! Where did you two go?"
Aryan and Aanya exchanged glances, neither knowing what to say.
Aryan cleared his throat.
"Well, Mom... we just went out to buy some medicines."
Devika looked at him.
"For medicines? Why did you take Aanya with you? Couldn't you have gone alone? She should have been resting, right?"
Aryan was momentarily speechless.
He didn't know how to respond.
After a brief pause, he nodded.
"Okay, Mom. I won't do that next time."
With that, he and Aanya headed toward their room.
Prerna, who had been listening to the entire conversation, looked at Devika in disbelief.
"Mom! Have you gone mad?"
Devika turned toward her.
"What did I do?"
Prerna shook her head.
"You don't know anything!"
Devika frowned.
"But what did I do?"
Prerna looked at her.
"What did you do? Mom, why did you ask Bhai and Bhabhi where they had gone?"
Devika listened to her.
"I mean, why did you need to ask them that?"
Devika sighed.
"I was just asking because Aanya's condition still isn't good. She needs to rest instead of roaming around, right?"
Prerna nodded.
"Okay, I understand that you care about Bhabhi, Mom. But still, the way you asked them didn't sound like you were worried about her. It sounded like you were interrogating both of them!"
Devika frowned.
Prerna continued,
"Where did you go? Why did you go? When did you go? Mom, stop asking them so many questions! They're a couple. They might feel awkward answering all of that!"
Devika paused as she finally understood what Prerna was trying to explain.
"Mom, both you and I watch so many serials, right? We see how the hero and heroine go on dates and spend time together, but the hero's mother never likes it. She always keeps questioning them and interrogating them. And now you're exactly sounding like that only.
"Oh, Prerna! How stupid of me! I didn't even realize how both of them might feel."
Prerna nodded.
"Finally! You got the point!"
Devika sighed.
"Now I'm so embarrassed. What would Aanya think of me? That I'm some typical saas who wants to know everything about her and her husband's life?"
Prerna chuckled.
"Exactly! And thank God Bhabhi's parents are in their room. I mean, what if they had been here and heard all this? What would they think of you?"
Devika's eyes widened.
"Oh, no! You're right. I should stop asking them so many questions from now on."
Prerna nodded her head in approval.

The Next Day
It was time for dance practice.
Aahil, Ahad, and Asma had also arrived, and everyone was waiting for the choreographer to arrive.
Meanwhile, Prerna turned toward Aryan.
"Bhai, why can't you stay for a while?"
Aryan glanced at her.
"Sorry, Prerna. I have a lot of work to take care of today. I can't stay."
Prerna didn't say anything.
After a moment, Aryan turned toward her again.
"Well, and one more thing. Don't let Aanya dance, okay? I know she'll get excited and want to join you guys, but don't let her. She still needs to rest."
Prerna nodded.
"Okay, Bhai. I'll take care of it."
Aryan nodded before leaving.
