Chapter 7 - He's My Boyfriend

*The next morning at 5:30 AM*

Martin stirred in his sleep, his messy bed hair, covering his face and creating a mesmerizing view. And just next to him, Paxton lay, peacefully, napping like the world no longer matters.

And just when it seemed like Martin wanted to relax further, reality suddenly hit him like a bolt of lightning.

Last night, he had driven a drugged man into a hotel. The drugged man had also tried to sleep with him despite not having any relationship with him. So, if anyone sees the situation, they would conclude that Martin had taken advantage of Paxton.

"Sh*t." He cursed as he hurriedly pulled the curtains.

He released a sigh of relief.

'It's still dark. Maybe, I can still take him to his condo at Riverton.'

Paxton is a celebrity and if this scene is captured in the media, then Martin would be the one to suffer. Luckily, he had woken up early.

He tapped James.

"Hey, get up."

No response.

"Listen to me, we need to go now!"

James didn't even stir, making Martin realize that the drug must be very heavy on him.

'Sigh…why did I go nuts at his dick print. I should have listened to him when he told me about his condo at Riverton.'

He tried to lift the man, only to realize that his body mass must have added. However, Martin was fit and strong, it wasn't hard to make Paxton walk despite his heavy sleep.

He slowly opened the door and walked down the stairs.

Finally, they got to the receptionist and Martin decided to check out. However, the lady at the counter seemed to glare at him in suspicion.

"Why do you have him? Did you drug him?"

She was creating a scene.

Martin's expression twisted into a scowl. "We came here together. Someone drugged him so I was only bringing him here to sober up."

Martin did not blame the woman. She probably did not know that the man he held was Paxton because she had been the one to check them in. But now, Martin had covered his face up, wrapping it in a way that he wouldn't draw attention to himself. Plus, it was normal for her to forget Martin's face since he wasn't a big shot.

"Why did you cover his face? Is he dead? Did you kill him?"

The woman's voice was getting louder, every question she asked, accompanied by a volume higher than the last.

Angrily, Martin had no choice. He gritted his teeth and whispered. "He's my boyfriend, why would I kill my own boyfriend? We came here for f*ck's sake and now you want the world to discover that we're a gay couple??"

It was like the woman was slapped hard on the face. She quickly checked them out, her face flushed with embarrassment— not because of her attitude towards them but because Martin was too handsome and manly to be reduced to a bottom by the tall, muscular man he pulled along with him.

She knew the game very well. The smallest in a relationship would definitely be at the receiving end, just like females were supposed to be laid by the male.

She simply watched as Martin disappeared from Le'snore hotel and slowly let out a broken sigh.

Martin got to the garage and opened James' sports car. Then he forced James' huge body into the passenger seat until the man sat comfortably. Martin exhaled, wiping the sweat off his forehead and slammed the door shut.

He entered the driver's seat and turned on the ignition switch and that's when Martin saw it—

Alston's vehicle pulled into the hotel.

With a short gasp, he drove backwards in order to prevent the man from noticing that they were actually escaping.

Alston had a menacing scowl on his face and he walked into the hotel with his shoulders held high. That was Martin's chance.

He immediately drove out of the compound and hit the highway.

Alston met the receptionist who was still dumbfounded by the gay couple earlier only for another celebrity to appear before her eyes with a beautiful smile on his face.

"He's here right? Paxton?"

She smiled warmly and nodded. "Yes, room 307. He came with someone."

Alston dipped his hands into his pocket and brought out a few dollar notes. He tossed the money on her desk like they didn't matter at all. "It's a tip from me."

With that, he walked out of the reception.

Martin drove the car with focus, his hands trembling, realizing that he's not gotten enough sleep. He needed to take a day off.

He dialed Kevin's number in an instant and when the man answered, his voice sounded so groggy, like he was just waking up from sleep.

"Yes Martin."

Kevin suddenly seemed to notice something from Martin's background and he asked.

"Are you driving?"

Martin laughed. "That's exactly what I want to talk about. I want a day off. Turns out, these celebrities have a lot on their plates already, now I have Paxton— drugged. And Alston, the culprit chasing after us. Who knows what is in his mind."

Kevin suddenly panicked.

"Where are you?"

"Relax. I'm fine, he won't find me so easily and Paxton, I'll keep him safe."

Kevin wanted to say more, but Martin had already disconnected the call and the man pulled at his hair in sheer frustration.
