Kelvin had come down to the block where they had parked their van. But it was surrounded by demons. Kelvin gritted his teeth.
He pulled the trigger of his gaint machine gun. The engine roared loudly. He smirked widely.
"You freaking demons!! I kill you today!!'' Kelvin exclaimed lowly. He shot sporadically at them but as usual the trick of its invisibility made its way again.
The demons dashed towards him but the bullets had their effect as they moved toward him. It rocketed through their body and broke their spines efficiently.
"Go in. I will decapitate the demons. Get as many ruffles as possible and join me in the fight." he said as they moved through the open space he had created by killing the demons.
He pulled the trigger again and shot fiercely at them while taking and retracing his steps backwards.
The bullets finalised through their bodies, splitting their bodies and bursting up their vital organs in the shots. He smirked again as he noticed that they were all dead.
"Okay. Now let's get the damn ruffles." Kelvin said and rushed towards the van.
On reaching the van, he saw the seven men standing still on the spot. They were doing nothing. Just staring at the open boot of the vehicle.
"What is wrong with you..." Kelvin paused as he shoved two of the soldiers aside to stare at the van.
"Wait. What?!!'' Kelvin exclaimed in shock and anger.
Before him was about two dozens of boots, a set of uniform (military uniform). A gaint jug of water and some other unnecessary things.
What was supposed to be full of weapons was full of groceries and military outfit. They had mistakenly used the wrong van. This van was supposed to be used for a military picnic or out event.
"Who the hell drove this van here? Damn!! Who the fuck did this!!!'' Kelvin exclaimed in shock.
The seven soldiers stared at him in fear and shock. They too had no idea who had conveyed them over to this spot. But why would they be on the look of the driver when they had come for a deadly mission?
"Damn!! No ruffles!!'' Kelvin said as he climbed into the van, searching endlessly to see if he could find the weapons.
His hardwork proved to abortive. He searched aimlessly through the pile of groceries and other irrelevant objects.
"Damn it!! If there is no damn weapon, how the hell do we supply weapons over to the team over there? And the worse of it all is that we are surrounded. We are damn surrounded!!!" Kelvin exclaimed as he stared at the demons that had rounded the truck.
"Quick. Into the truck." Kelvin said and they all forced themselves in apart from one who was held behind by a demon.
"Arghh!!! Please help me!!'' he exclaimed in pain. The other soldiers looked at him in fear.
"Sorry man. I can't risk my life getting down from here. You signed up for life or death as an officer. This is your sacrificial death." one of the soldiers said and slammed the door close.
Kelvin's eye widened in shock. Was this how cruel the humans had come to be? How the fuck could they have to be this selfish and inconsiderate?
"Dammit." Kelvin muttered in annoyance. He stood up and moved over to the door. He swung it open and jumped down to the ground.
He looked down at the man and noticed that his legs were held by a demon.
He grinned lightly as he noticed that the soldier had used a sharp knife to cut his leg from the thigh so as to free one leg but the other leg was gripped tightly.
"Why the fuck did you have to that?" Kelvin exclaimed and swung his arm to smash against the face of the demon that held the soldier.
The other demons began to close in on them but suddenly their bodies exploded violently and their blood splattered in the air.
Kelvin revealed his gaint machine gun and smiled. He looked at the soldier and smiled. He was free but was still bleeding evidently.
"Damn." Kelvin muttered and squatted lowly over him.
Then he removed his shirt to reveal his muscles and albs. The soldier looked at him in shock. Kelvin did not speak. He wrapped his cloth over the chopped leg and made sure it stopped the blood flow.
"Thank you sir." the soldier said politely. Kelvin stared at him and nodded.
"It is what makes a true soldier. To sacrifice for others. To sacrifice others to save others. That's what makes us true soldiers." Kelvin said and the soldier stared at him in shock.
Kelvin carried him on his arms and ran towards the van. Some demons were already beating against the door of the van and as they saw Kelvin, they turned their attention to him.
"Fuck."
He ran towards them with full speed and quickly ducked under their attacks. He swiftly by passed them even though he was carrying both the soldier and his weapon.
As he got to the door, a demon dived towards him suddenly at him. He turned sharply and shot at it. Within the next moments, it bursted open.
"Good. Get in." Kelvin said as he opened the door of the van and threw the soldier in. He stared at the soldiers sternly.
"Commander Kelvin!!!'' they all exclaimed and he turned to look behind.
A crowd of demons were rushing towards him. He grinned tightly and climbed into the van. He safely got in and turned to notice that the demons had closed the gap between them faster than he had expected.
"Seems like we have to protect the van. That's our only way out." Kelvin muttered. The soldiers stared at him and he grinned devilishly.
He turned almost instantly and grabbed the soldier who had spoken to the injured one. He stared at Kelvin in shock.
"What the fuck is going on?" he exclaimed in feat. Kelvin smiled.
"Earlier you mentioned something about sacrificial death. I guess this is yours." Kelvin said and swung him with his might towards the demons.
"Noooh!!!!'' he exclaimed but he landed directly into the mouths of the hungry demons. They tore through his body as he screamed in pain and agony.
"Farewell soldier." Kelvin said calmly and moved through the pile of groceries. He got to the driver's seat and started the engine.
"Shut the damn door!! We are going to drive over these damn demons." Kelvin said and smiled. The engine of the van roared as it awoke to life.
